Lehigh Valley Chimney came on May 17th , 2024 to check our heating and chimney in order to complete our inspection with the city of ******. Lehigh Valley Chimney invoiced us the total cost of the job for $2,700 which we paid a deposit of $900 on the 17th. No copies of the invoice or cancellation document were provided to us at this time. The only reason why I have an invoice is because I called on May 21st to request the invoice so I could provide the information of the potential work that would be done to our house to the city of ******. Employee did not do any repairs or service the heating system on the 17th. He only checked the system to see what needed to be completed. I called on May 30th for an update and was told that they were backed up with work until July/August. I asked to have this process cancelled since we need to get this done ASAP and was told we had signed a document stating that we had 3 days to cancel (We don't have any proof that we signed this document, and I keep getting emails every week asking to E-sign the cancellation agreement, which I have NOT signed). I tried to schedule a date with them but they would not. I called one or two more times after May 30th for updates and kept being told the same excuse. I called on June 26th to get an update and was told we were 3rd in line and they would call me by the end of the week to schedule. They didn't call. I called on July 5th to cancel services and to get my deposit back and was told no since I had signed a "contract", I still don't have proof of this even after I requested a copy of this when I asked them to cancel the process. They were dishonest, not clear about their processes from the beginning. No documents were ever provided. I was able to find another company to get the job done. Lehigh Valley Company did not do anything for us and at this time I don't see why I should have to let them keep my deposit for no work done.

On Nov. 11,2022 LV Chimney Specialists did an inspection of my chimney. To do so they had to remove piping and move an oil stove forward several inches. After inspecting the chimney and moving the stive back into place one of the employees broke 3 tempered gall panes on the door of the stove. I paid them for their service and was promised it would be repaired. The parts for the ****** ***** stove, which is no longer sold in the U.S., could not be found. Parts ordered by the company(delivered six weeks after damage and attempt to install on Jan 16th.) did not fit. Both parties (myself and LVCS) did try several places to find suitable parts to no avail.*************************, owner , advised on the 16th he would try to have a company cut the parts that did not fit and get on it the next day. As of Jan. 20nd I did not hear back and emailed his assistant and advised her of the parts companies return policy and that **** should contact me as it was apparent we would not be able to fix the stove and I would be moving in a different direction(purchase new stove as the stove is our primary heat source) On Jan 23rd I received an email from **** that he would re-contact the glass repair company. I emailed him back on the 23rd advising him I was purchasing a new stove and he should contact to work towards an amicable settlement. On Feb 6th after not receiving any response I again asked to contact me. I am not looking for the company to pay the replacement cost of a new stove (approx. $3500) but some compensation I believe to be a fair request.
