I was awarded a ***** from the whole home program for ****************************************************************************************************** March that they would be here. I packed up the areas that needed to be packed up and moved. They didn't show up until April. There's been so much hardship damage issue after issue with the job. We were put off numerous times. We were out of bathroom upstairs until today July 12th. My husband has a rare disease. Can't walk without support. We have a stand-up shower downstairs. He couldn't use his shower chair or handicap rails for months. My 21-month-old grandson couldn't take a bath in his own home for months. The company tends to blame you and then give you guilt gifts or replace things instead of admitting fault The hardship that they caused us the way that they handled us the way that they treated us is very unfair. *****, the owner proceeded to tell the state state that she gave us $5,000 in free work. She never said what it was compensated for. They sent their bottom men to do a job for us and then sent their top men to come back and correct it all. This one on for months and months. I am just able to start unpacking boxes today. I would like for the company to replace the vanity and vanity top that was damaged. The wrong faucets were installed. The back door still doesn't work. I would like to be compensated for my hardship and for what they did to my husband. He couldn't use his bathroom for months. He can't make it up at on the stairs like we can he had to go to the bathroom in a jug in my bedroom completely embarrassed The owner chose to belittle me and put me down during every situation she made. It seem like she can't give me any more free stuff but never told why the stuff was given. She never told the truth. All they did was yes me and try to compensate me with guilt gifts to keep me quiet. My entire family has suffered greatly from this. We're all exhausted.Hello The back door sliding doors needs some type of repair as we're opening it. It feels like the door is falling off the tracks. It's jammed and wedged as well as locks when it wants to. They just came out to fix it because of the lock. This issue did not happen until they fixed the lock. I am not satisfied with the faucets in the bathroom upstairs They're too close to the vanity itself and the water splashes everywhere my husband can't  wash his hands I purchased backsplash which I shouldn't have had to to try to protect the paint  I'm not going to accept a brand new vanity with multiple chips on there I feel as we didn't do it why should I have to accept it damaged some of the wall that they repaired my sponging left blobs on it. I was going to have my ex-mother-in-law fix it but I am not going to at this point. I'm going to let them take care of it so that it's finished by them whatever paint they touched up in the hallway is coming off as soon as you touch it which has been told about numerous times there's paint in areas of the bathroom where it doesn't belong the paint easily marks It's been spackled and repainted so many times that the overall walls itself look terrible no matter who does what to them  She sent the guys over here for a deep cleaning. They came without a vacuum. Didn't clean anything. I had to do it I hear running water in the bathroom throughout the day and at night The bathroom door slams into the closet every time you open the door because the stopper wasn't put back on as promised  Not sure where the water running sound  it's coming from. I've told her about this several times I would also like her to take accountability for her actions instead of blaming me and making me look like a complainer and picky  and not to throw around that she did $5,000 worth of free work And that she can no longer do free stuff for us. That was horrible to even say That's the farthest from the truth she can explain to the state why she did additional work I feel discriminated against. I feel degraded and they need to compensate for the hardship that they put us through not her saying she did free stuff are you serious, especially my disabled husband being put through what he was . This has been months of h*** inconvenience an upstairs bathroom at times no downstairs bathroom at times  No showers at all  The list could go on and on what I'm looking for. Is the job to be finished correctly completed and what my warranty is because facing so many issues during the job scares me with what's going to happen after the job is done I also found a small tear in the vinyl flooring downstairs in front of my front door. Probably from when whatever fell and  damaged the walls saw it  while cleaning it, I would need to have that repaired. I was going to tell her yesterday but she said she didn't think she could talk to us  We had the hallway covered with a throw rugs It was only uncovered for them to do their work I'm sure I'll be blamed as well or asking for free stuff  thank you I tried to explain in detail reasonings behind everything ***** might have something that I missed that needed to be done. I'm just so wiped out. Exhausted that I might be missing something thank you for your help ??

Northampton County is awarding impoverished citizens within their county *****s to help them with necessary home improvements. Mitri Brothers General Contractors is one of the many contractors working closely with the county to help our constituents in need. Several individuals were awarded this ***** and the client in the review above is one of the said ***** awardees. We have worked with over 30 awardees and we have had no complaints. Before we started our work, the client had other contractors who were going to work with her but ultimately decided against it because they claimed she was difficult. We chose to disregard this and work with the client because the owner of Mitri Brothers felt deep empathy for the client and the clients disabled husband. The owner herself is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and she knows what its like to live with a debilitating disability. The project was scheduled to begin in April, however, the weather and unforeseen circumstances delayed the project. For example, the materials the client selected like the faucet, vanity, and shower surround were all custom-ordered and they took longer to arrive. The client was fully aware of this. When the project was delayed the client was notified and she was fine with the schedule change. The project officially began on May 6th, ***************************************************************************** multiple parts so that we dont disturb her and her familys everyday home life. The first of many workers that were sent to the property was ********. ******** is a very capable ********* with multiple years of experience in the construction industry. ******** was there for about a week and during that time the client called multiple times a day to criticize Servandos work because she was frustrated that things were not being done her way. As mentioned above, ******** is an expert in our field and he was doing the work per code. Ultimately the client was annoyed with ******** and they had irreconcilable differences. We had to remove him from this project and rearrange our whole schedule to accommodate the client and send someone else. A week later, we sent ******* to the client. ******* is our master ********* and an expert in construction. After ******* was done she was somewhat satisfied with the first part of her job. During this process, the client continued to call and criticize ******** expertise. The next part of her project was the bathroom remodel. ***** and ** were sent to the client to start the bathroom on May 13th. ***** and Mo have multiple years of experience in our field. Our guys reported that the client was not only micromanaging them she was on top of them questioning every move they made. The guys felt deeply uncomfortable and scrutinized by the client. This anxiety caused them to make mistakes that they regularly would never do. One of these mistakes was damaging a garden light outside the clients property which we made sure to replace. Another one of these mistakes was 2 to 3 small nicks to the wall going down her stairs. We also took full responsibility and asked the client to select a color she wanted us to paint the wall. However, the wall was decorative and was sponged with three different colors. We offered to have it sponged but the client could not remember the original colors for the wall. We offered once again to have it painted one color and she agreed. The client selected the color and she was happy with the wall. A few days later she called to complain about the wall saying she was unhappy because of the color and a spot on top of the stairs that was not spackled. This damage was not done by our workers. She was also unhappy with her rugs which were already soiled before we even started and got more messy during the construction process. She claimed that we made them how they were and demanded the rugs be cleaned at no extra cost. This damage was not done by us and per the Northampton County contract, we cannot repair damages that were not done by us and are not explicitly stated in the contract. However, to avoid causing further duress to the client we obliged. There were multiple problems of this nature where the client selected one thing and she changed her mind so we had to redo it. All these delays caused the bathroom completion to be delayed. The client stated multiple times she did not care how much longer it took as long as we did things how she wanted them. Our **************************** was sent to spackle, sand, and paint the bathroom. ****** has over 10 years of experience in this field. The client called and criticized his work to our office staff saying that he paints like a 5-year-old. **** was also moved to another job site because she did not want him in her bathroom. We were left with no choice but to send another painter. The bathroom was usable at the end of June. The client refused to use it because she claimed she could hear water running in the back and that the faucets she picked were wrong and splashed everywhere. However one of our employees looked it over and both were perfectly fine. The project went on like this and the client requested multiple items that were not stated in her contract nor were they approved by the county. We obliged some of her requests because she called and harassed the staff at our office every day. It came to a point where no employees wanted to go back to her home and the staff at the office were disquieted whenever the client called. The client threatened multiple times to speak to the county, even though they were fully aware of the situation. She threatened us multiple times with her lawyer, even though we were trying our best to accommodate her. The owner had to go to the county for help. The county agreed that she was being excessive and that we needed to close her project as soon as possible. The project has concluded however the client is still unhappy. We have apologized multiple times and we have never blamed the client for anything. She has always victimized herself and berated us for problems that arose due to misunderstandings on both sides. We hold no grudges toward the client and we understand that this was a stressful time for her and that she may have acted untowardly due to strain. We sincerely wish her the best and we hope we can rectify the issues she still has concerns with as long as the county permits it. We are a small business that tries to make our clients happy and help them as much as we can, however, we accept that we cannot make every client happy. We appreciate the criticism and will do better in the future.

I'm writing in response to the mitri brothers reply first of all don't put me ever in a impoverished category again examples as to them degrading us from the jump I feel very discriminated against when I first met with ***** I believe in December 2023 she opened up the The computer showed me what was in my budget showed me some samples scrolled up and down the computer and said oh these are available. Oh, these are in your budget so I agreed with her knowing nothing about what they were. I figured she would know best she does this all the time She proceeded to tell me I saw pictures of your house. It's beautiful. Doesn't look like it needs work or renovations At that point on my way home something didn't rub me right. I was already being judged I keep a beautiful house whether I need renovations, repairs or not has nothing to do with how we live needing renovations does not put you in the poverty state  The last I checked When I left she told me 2 weeks I'll be on the schedule. I didn't hear from them. I waited some time. I followed up. ***** told me that they would be out to do the roof and the electric at some point. In February She told me to pack up in February. I started to pack up everything that needed to be packed up My daughter heard someone on the roof. She got nervous. I called them to see if it was them. She said yes. She forgot to tell us that the outside work doesn't require scheduling. Scared my daughter and my grandson half to death We proceeded on to wait for the electrician. When the electrician left. We kept having breakers trip. It seemed to be the same two. I reported it to *****. The electrician came back out and said let him know if it keeps on happening because each item needs its own breaker now. It's not like it was before he explained to me he said it's an easy fix. Thankfully it never happened again. We proceeded to wait for them to get to us. I have no idea why she's talking about the weather. We have a roof doors and windows. It was all interior work that was left. I don't know how the weather can prevent her from coming and not showing up for quite some time. She sent ******** over ******** proceeded to work. He showed me everything when he was done. I asked him a few questions starting with the screen door. I told him that this screen door should have something at the top because we live in a very high suburb wind area. We're in the middle of the cul-de-sac. The winds literally will blow everything away. He told me it was fine. He left went home. The wind blew the door bent the hinges. Previous to this the door didn't shut correctly nor did it lock. I brought it up to them. They said he'll come and fix it. He worked on the front door. I could still see light through it. He told me he would need more weather stripping. I could still see light through the front door. He proceeded to try to fix that. Wouldn't lock or shut correctly. I reported it to *****. He then went to fix the kitchen sink where it was noted. It was the p-trap he found out it wasn't the p-trap it was the faucet. ***** told me to pick a faucet out for $150. By that time ******** went to go pick it out for us. He installed it. I noticed loss of water pressure. He tried to fix it a few times. No change. He called ****** and ***** said he can change it but if the water pressure is the same I'm paying the labor. Unbelievable. Guess what he changed it. The water pressure came back moving on. He put a very sharp piece of wood going down the stairs to brace the ********. He braced the center ******** which is already loose. My husband has to rely on those two support items to get up and down the stairs We then proceed on to the toilet downstairs. He said he spent hours on it. Can't get it to work. He went and got a handle. The new inserts couldn't get it to work. He said he's not doing it anymore. He got the toilet to somewhat flush. A few days later I noticed my items on the bathroom floor were soaked. The toilet was dripping while steam came over to look at it and told me it's okay to use it. It's just clean water dripping from the tank. We realized that ******************** broke the toilet. ***** had sent someone to get a new toilet. We then go to the back sliding doors. The first one that was installed was the wrong direction. The second one that he installed I repeatedly told him to make sure that he cuts the deck board and the rotted wood he told me to big of a job He said he will seal it and it will be just fine. I told ***** about it. It rained the rug was soaked. The rain water came back in the house again then on to the bathroom where there was mold it was a full upstairs. He told me that the baby, my husband and my daughter and the dogs will have to get out of the house because the stuff that he uses to kill the mold we can't inhale. I said why are you killing mold? If it's a gut aren't you ripping everything out? He said no, that's too big of a job then called ***** again to let her know and she removed him from the job ***** and *** then showed up To start the bathroom process when he came to the door. ***** day one. He was very standoffish with me. He told me how much time do I need to move everything else I stated to him I moved what I was told needed to be moved to move my large entryway table. I would have to get help The hallway was clear as much as I could get it cleared out which obviously didn't make a difference because they still damaged the walls regardless I was outside on the deck with my husband and I heard a loud crash and I heard *** say something out loud. Something fell down the stairs, damaged the wall, the steps and the bottom of my floor I proceeded to *************** about it because the wall that was damaged I had professionally sponged by some lady years back. ***** told me through text. We don't do sponging. She sent **** to attempt to sponge. I no longer had the cans. **** told me that he didn't need them. He spackled probably 12 in squares for tiny little nicks. He tried to sponge with a light color. It was so bad that ******** and ***** thought it was spackle. I have pictures again back to the bathroom when ***** and *** came that day after we got that scored away. ***** told me that he had the owners in his ear telling him to tell me that he's on a time limit and that it's best if he comes back tomorrow to start the bathroom. I said I will move this as fast as I can with no help. The table is very long and very heavy. ***** and *** proceeded to move that part of the table for me, which I appreciated. They then began the bathroom. My husband was downstairs and said does anything need to be covered? ***** said no it should be fine. Everything from the gut upstairs bathroom came downstairs all over the laundry room floor all over the washer and dryer all over my shelf. It was also wet and sticky and stuck to everything when they removed the old toilet. ***** forgot to drain it. I was in the shower. I heard something running. There was a huge stream of water running down in my laundry room. ***** told me it was his fault. He didn't drain the water. He then told me that he will soak up my carpet. He said to me my carpet had suds in it. I tried to explain to him that that's going to be dirty water. The suds is from the drop-ins that I put in the toilet to keep the toilet cleaned. He left the tarp on my rug came back a few days later I started to smell a strange smell. The ceiling tiles were destroyed again. ***** told him to pick up the rug and take it with him. He proceeded to vacuum the sheetrock from downstairs and all inside my washer. I have pictures and videos again. Weeks go by. My rug was brought back. I left my rug rolled up until I was told numerous times a deep clean was going to be done. She sent the boys over again. They showed up with no vacuum. No cleaning materials. They were asking me for paper towels. They swept my garage and left. I have pictures again of their so-called deep cleaning. The window in the bathroom was filthy. There was mold. Still there was screws, materials, nails and everything else in the window. Still there was sheetrock everywhere then proceeded to close up the bathroom. I reminded ***** numerous times to check the attic to make sure there was no mold. I am allergic to mold. I had a mold problem in the bathroom. I lost part of my hearing which I'm still battling today. ***** said he'll get the leak. He closed everything up. Turn the water on. Realized it was still leaking. Had to cut the wall again. All I did was ask for the toilet to please be installed. They put my husband through such hardship. We were months without a toilet or a bathroom upstairs. He cannot climb the steps like we can. I had to buy him other means to use the bathroom in our bathroom. He was completely humiliated. He couldn't use his shower chair. He couldn't use his handicap rails for months. The vanity that was ordered was too large. When *** got there he said he had to cut the wall to install it. They didn't know how to do it. ***** installed the medicine cabinet. I guess to regulation not to my husband's standard. He's 6'4. He couldn't get up without hitting himself on the medicine cabinet. They moved that *** came over and asked me why there was a bucket full of water under the vanity. Something happened with that. There was more leaks. I continuously heard running water in the bathroom. We were never told to use the bathroom yet. The bathroom was then painted and spackled probably six or seven times. I also have pictures of videos of the horrible job. There was nails popping through. There was marks all over there was chips. There was ****'s there was scrapes. I have pictures again. I asked **** how come he doesn't stand. He said he uses a wet rag and wipes it off. He doesn't like the dust. I thought that was odd. If you touched the paint, you could peel the paint right off. I chose the paint color based on the bathroom not realizing that the top was marble. I had asked ***** if it was too late to change the paint. She said no. It was absolutely fine. Mind you it was only one coat after that one coat. The bathroom was done again. Probably four more times again. I still have pictures and videos we proceed onto the garage door. *** came over and installed the new garage door. He could not get it connected to the motor that previously worked. It was the door that was damaged not the garage motor and opener. He said did these work before I said yes. You opened the door with the motor. He said no no it's broke. I said I have video of you opening the door with the motor. There's a camera out front of my house that can hear you push it as well as all the other guys that came here. Open the garage by motor. We head back to the carpets upstairs. My carpets were not the greatest. I shampooed them several times to keep them as clean as I could. I needed new carpets. I was waiting to purchase flooring. After this process the installers didn't put anything down. ***** told me that they should have put something on the steps and something down the hallway that was then put down after the fact there was spills in my hallway. There was black marks in my hallway. There was sheetrock and drywall in my hallway. First of all I have OCD. I keep a very tidy clean house. I would never allow my grandson to walk on carpets like that. Please do not insult my intelligence. I also have before and after pictures of my carpets, previous end of the carpets damaged as well as my steps again I have pictures and videos okay, now I'm going to the house So much happened in such a long time. I'm trying to remember everything after *** tried countless hours to get the garage door connected. ***** said that they will get me a garage opener to compensate for the damaged carpets. I have text and video again. ******* changed out the faucet upstairs. It worked fine. We were told the bathroom after it was done painted. ******* would be back a few times. He would responge the wall. The tub need to be caulked before we can use it, no one came back to do the tub again. How could we use the shower? Mind you my grandson. Since ***** was going to my parents and my sister's house to take a bath. My daughter had to drag him out every single night. He couldn't have a bath in his own home ****** came upstairs to rip out the back door. He found all the rotted wood. He put it in the correct way. Cut the deck. The back door never locked. I bought a Master **** for the back door because of my grandson knows how to open. The back door was weeks before anybody came back *******, the ******* told me he was staying here until the job was done. When he got here he was speechless. He was at a loss for words. He stated he doesn't care that he's on camera and he proceeded to tell me how bad it was. He didn't understand why **** did what he did. He was in the bathroom on the phone with his wife talking out loud that he was going to be here for days and to clean. This mess up is unbelievable and so on on The three of the workers proceeded to tell me about how the company works. They told me they're not used to working in these type of homes that they're used to more being in the lower end areas. That's why they send the bottom feeders. They send the bottom feeders to start the work and attempt to do the work. Most people don't notice me. On the other hand I'm different. I notice everything that's wrong and right. One of the workers said tell ***** you're not going to get away with that with me because I know what's going on might as well get it done right? I apologize for not living in the slums and having bed bugs and roaches and being condemned. I apologize for needing help with renovations and repairs. When I couldn't financially do them myself, I didn't know I had to be on poverty level or live in poverty level as per ***** I was also told that *** and **** do this all the time. They're the cleanup crew they have to fix everybody's mistakes after the damages to my Wi-Fi, ***** agreed to get me a washer. She was kind enough after a few headaches to get me a washer and dryer set used which I appreciated. Like a damaged to the washer happen. I had to get the old one removed when I had it removed. We couldn't use either shower in the house because it came from the same line as downstairs. We were almost a week without a shower downstairs. My husband want 4 days without the shower because he can't get in anybody else's shower. Mind you, I'll see the showering downstairs I had to hold him. He couldn't use this handicap rails or his shower chair how dare her make it look like I was in the bathroom or on top of grown men while they're working. I would never disrespect my husband. How does that even sound? That sounds disgusting honestly why would workers want to be in the bathroom with me smh  i never bothered them unless they called my name which they did so much. My husband would get aggravated. They wanted to talk more than work how could she even reply with my micromanaging cause them anxiety? I hate to tell them I was outside half the time. That's when my pool is just opened. I was doing lots of yard work. I can pull up the video at any point to show them The bathroom was never usable. I turned on the shower to try it and it leaked. I sent ***** ******** It took a while for somebody to get back here again. We couldn't use the bathroom her worker ***** told me I was good people and if someone has a problem with me it's them not me this project has been a horrible experience. It should have been happiness and joy. Today is July 22nd. My bathroom's still currently is not unpacked. The bathroom is not fully cleaned. I have started to clean all other areas. There are also chips on the vanity top as well as **** 's. Where the handles were installed I told ***** about that. She said the manufacturer won't accept it. So that's my fault that I have to live with a damaged vanity because her workers did it. I have before and after pictures as well *** fixed the faucet leak which ***** stated in her response there was no leak. I have pictures and videos again. *** told me no one the tape on it. He did it once we started to use the bathroom my husband stated he couldn't wash his hands. Got the faucet was too close to the sink. I asked ***** about it. She said you picked it. I picked it by examples you showed me. She was very pushy during the picking so who had a choice when you turn the water on, you have to either put your hands all the way down to the bottom of the sink. The water splashes everywhere. The new paint has water marks on it. I bought backsplash which I have not installed yet so everyone could see what happened as you can see, this company takes no accountability for anything. There's no remorse on the hardship that they put me and my family through. Did she one time mention how long my husband was without his shower chair and his handicap rails? They show no compassion and no remorse. I have no regrets in contacting anybody to get help. I want this resolved just as much as they do but I will not back down and settle. This is my house and I have to live here thank you I also contacted the county numerous times for help. The county didn't want to help me until they wanted the job wrapped up. ******* told me to put everything in writing and don't sign anything unless I'm happy. I thought she meant at the end of the job which I was wrong. I didn't leave her numerous messages. I did tell her it was looking brighter and then it went back to being horrible again anytime I saw. Hope in getting this job done. Problem after problem came back They don't believe in the customer is always right. Thank God. I have pictures and videos to prove my innocence and to prove that I'm right and anyone that needs to see them send me an email. I'll be happy to show you everything every step of the way thank you

BBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
