This contractor was hired to install flooring and refinish hardwood. All work done by this contractor (who used the name *****************) was poorly done, not completed and all had to be entirely redone by someone else. As the job went on, it became clear that this contractor did not have the necessary skills or expertise to compete the job properly. Promise after promise was broken, including a statement that they would repay a portion of the total. This contractor was hired through **** and resolution was attempted, however the contractor did not follow through on the promise to submit a partial refund. I have photos of the work as well as invoices and statements from other well experienced contractors.

Initial contact 5/6/23. I was told house would be done end of June since contractor would be getting Married 7/14/23. He did not finish. He left for wedding and I could not get him to complete job. He would for months keep telling me he would get it done and then not show up. Costing us an additional 9000 in rent. 3000 each month on top of 2000 mortgage payment. He did such a bad job on my roof it had to be torn down and started over. Now I have ceiling damage I had to have another handyman repair. It took them 3 weeks to complete just tarps on the roof. It is still not right. He was paid in full to also do floors and brace roof in attic. Neither were complete. I had to have another floor company complete floor. Wiring to update kitchen was not done correctly and not complete. Had to have electrician complete. Had to pay plumber to complete plumbing he did not finish in kitchen. He left kitchen unusable. The pipe behind the wall was not connected and caused leak into my basement. Had to pay someone to repair drywall. He also left the old roof in driveway and behind my house after I had already paid for one dumpster. Had to get another. He didn't pay subcontractors for my countertop and gutters. I paid him in full. Countertop people threatened to put a lien on my house. We are now in a situation where we may not be able to keep house since we no longer have money to finish. He also took 5 baseboard heaters without my permission. I have text messages and pics but to much to upload on here. I am looking into taking him to court. I gave him around $40000. My life savings. He left around 10 to 20000 unfinished. I do not want him to finish he was not qualified to do the work he did.
