  I specified to the scheduling employee that I needed to see a physician that treats hip related issues because I have an acetabular labral tear in my right hip, a synovial pit herniation of the right femoral neck, & a neoplasm of the left iliac. She told me that Dr. James W*** specializes in hips & gave me an appointment with his PA, Pooja P*****, since I would have to wait longer to see Dr. W***. I went on 7/29/2022 to my 2:40 pm appointment with Pooja P***** who didn’t enter the exam room until one hour later! I immediately informed her that I was there to address the aforementioned problems and gave her the MRI CDs of the hips. She asked me to remove my shoes and proceeded to examine me. She asked if I ever underwent spinal surgery and I said yes, that I had 3 lumbar spine surgeries in the past with the most recent in 2016. She then sat down in front of the computer monitor and said that she couldn’t find a recent MRI of my spine. I again told her that my current problems were hip related and that I made this appointment to have my hip related issues addressed, at which point she said that she doesn’t treat hips and only treats spinal issues! The scheduling employee said that she had documented the three hip related problems I have and the MRI dates I provided. She also told me that Dr. W*** treats hip problems, so I cannot understand why I was given an appointment to see a doctor’s PA who only treats spinal concerns! I have no idea why this PA completely disregarded the hip concerns I mentioned to her as soon as she entered the examination room and didn’t tell me immediately that the doctor only treats spinal problems, not hips, or why she proceeded to examine me if they only treat spinal issues, not hips. I would like the office manager & the President of this company to be made aware of this egregious mistake and would like an explanation from them.
