    I purchased two pairs of shoes from a company that initially appeared to be in the ***** but is actually in *********. I ordered the shoes on April 16 and did not receive them until May 17. One pair was purportedly a size 8.5 but I believe is actually a full size smaller, 7.5, based on the fit and compared to my other 8.5 shoes. I requested a return on May 18 for a refund and was denied. I tried to return the second pair of shoes I ordered, and realized that the company only allows returns for exchanges or store credit. I was not aware of their return policies before ordering because they are not easily found on the website (hidden only at the bottom of the homepage, via a link), not on the ordering pages, in violation of California Civil Code 1723, which requires "conspicuous display" of return policies. The seller is also in violation of Consumers Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code sections *********) for selling me a product with improper size labeling, a deceptive act that led to my purchasing an unusable product.

     The customer purchased two items. One of the shoes did not fit. The customer requested a refund for the **** item and according to our policies we do not issue refunds or offer exchanges on products that are on sale in **** section.  The policy is on the website and is accessible from any page of the website. Screenshot attached.

    Despite us providing all the supporting documentation, the customer opened a chargeback through their credit card company and won the chargeback and received a full refund despite our return policy. 

    The customer received a full refund for both pairs of shoes despite mentioning that only one pair did not fit well.

    Therefore the customer has now been refunded for both pairs of shoes.
