    My father Glenn C. Wilt purchased a cemetery plot from Rose Hill Cemetery in 1976. He purchased the entire plot (8 grave sites). Both my parents have since passed away and are buried in the plot. A recent very unexpected death in our extended family prompted me to make sure everything for our family was in line in the event something happened. I contacted the cemetery regarding having the remaining plots of the site put into my name as I am an only child. Upon contacting the cemetery I was told there were not 6 remaining spots in the plot there were only two, but there were surprisingly 4 available spots adjacent to it they would gladly sell me. I immediately pulled up paperwork I had which included the original certificate of sale that notes an entire plot, not a portion, plus a drawing that again lists the same plot and section numbers that clearly shows room for 8 individual burials and shows my mother and father in 1/4 of the indicated area. The person I spoke with said it was a 4 spot plot. I have repeatedly attempted to ask them to show me documentation that there is only 4 spots and they refuse to do that. They did say they would give us 2 of the available spots but not the full initial plot of 8. I was told the individual who ran the cemetery for 40 years passed away and they are doing what they can to make sense of what was left for them. The person I have been speaking with also changes her story with each email. Initially she did agree that my father did purchase the plot for the listed price on the bill or sale, then in another conversation she said he didn’t buy it it was transferred to him and the last email she sent she was back to saying he did purchase it. Please help.
