    Went to get a fill done on my nails, the lady forgot a very important step per state laws and regulations. She forgot to use the nail dehydrator on the natural nail before applying the acrylic powder. That step blocks and evaporates any moisture on the natural nail preventing fungus growth. Once I noticed *** pointed it out, another lady came over and began litterally ripping the freshly set acrylic off my nails, damaging *************** underneath and causing me pain. She was very aggressive and very rough with my hands and I stopped the service after washing my hands. I already informed them I was going to be late for work from the mess up already and didn't have time for them to "fix" them anymore or get the polished. I showed them a photo of what I wanted done for my birthday. She charged me $50 for that even tho they hurt me. I said that seemed awfully high for just a fill and no polish on top of hurting me *** forgetting important steps *** she threatened to call the police on me for refusal to pay. I never refused to pay, only stated that ***** didn't seem right. I asked her for a receipt so I could come back and get them painted for free like she had told me I could. This lady sat down *** continued to insult me....saying," I dint think you know how to do nails" after I had explained to her I have my license and been doing hair and ******************** for more than 10 years and I know the state laws, that was how I noticed the important steps missed. She continued to argue with me and insulting me on my knowledge and was extremely unprofessional. I was back in 3 days time. I asked if they could reshape them to look more natural, she was refusing saying she could only paint them. Another lady came over and said, "fine, we make you happy this 1 time and you never come back" the lady reshaped *** put the bail deshin I had asked for on Saturday on my nails but charged me another $20 for the polish. They never tried to make anything right fir their messups *** I paid more than I ever have for a fill and nail art because they were called out on their mistakes. I'd like to file this complaint *** let others know about their shady business practices. They use alot of "illegal" tools per state law in their nail salon as well.
