I joined the gym April 12th. Before I joined I called and spoke with about membership with the Ardmore and **** of ******* Locations. I wanted to make sure that if you joined one you have equal access. I also wanted to make sure that we would have access to the outdoor pool because I had gone to your both locations a couple years prior and they had told me if you dont join by a certain time before summer the price goes up. I was assured that this was not an issue now. I joined and started to get emails and notifications on the app about the outdoor pool opening days and hours. We went the first opening day and scanned in without a problem. I told my husband it was nice and added him as a member in May to go the second day. It added him with no notification of a pool charge. We go to scan in the next day at the pool and it says we have complimentary passes and are not members. Then we both get an email saying we need to pay $250 for each adult and $150 for each kid to use the beach club this is the first mention of this ever and was in no communication. The member manager told me he was grandfathered into my membership. Then she said when this happened that I had to join before April 10th ( I joined the 12th) I said no one ever told me this when I specifically asked and there was also no email or app communication about this. She said there miser have been but there was not. I went back and checked. My husband and teen not longer want to be members but my 3 year olds summer was supposed to be going to the outdoor pool and we didnt join our local pool due to this. I feel their complete lack of communication and possibly purposeful misinformation when I called to asks about the club should have them forgo this extra charge. They tried to say offer they would charge me $300 instead of $400 but I specifically asked about this and they told me this would not be an issue when I signed up. They never sent an email about joined out beach club etc .
