    I am getting automatic shipments from this company and have a subscription. Ive tried several times to cancel my subscription and requested no more shipments. The only way to communicate with them is thru chat but its automated and not helping. The phone number disconnects every time I try it.

    Accessibility issues with website and online and telephone support results in them charging me for annual membership without my authorization after chat agent suggested I buy annual as a work around for problem trying to buy monthly. I'm trying to cancel this annual membership - cannot be done by me through website, tried to call and use chat, chat keeps telling me a ticket is opening and someone will contact me within 12 hours and they did not. I called disability assist and regular phone numbers that are posted as open today. Everytime I call after recording says call volume high or closed hangs up on me. I can only reach a chat bot now.     1/8/25. I was charged for an annual membership without explicit consent. I received a gifted membership through their veterans program a year ago. No where did it state this was only for a year and I would be charged the full price the following year. I never received notice that I would have to reapply NOR notice that my renewal was coming up and I would be charged. I didn't even received an email once I did get charged! All I received was a payment notice from ******! When I contacted the company, there was no remorse. They argued that there was an email sent 30 days prior, but were unable to produce that communication. They explicitly lied and stated it is in the terms and conditions and I need to check my account for my renewal date. How is a consumer to remember a charge that happens yearly without consent? This company needs to be held accountable.

    My Thrive Market account was cancelled in March 2023. On 12/19 I received an email about possible fraudulent activity on my Thrive account and membership. However, I only saw it, and $283+ of charges to my ****** account, this morning. My Thrive account was hacked by someone in **, and this person renewed my membership, fraudulently. I have been 'speaking' to Thrive's customer service team (I use speaking lightly, its chat), and was told my concerns were escalated to the ***************** who has rejected the refund request for the orders placed by the hacker. According to ****** in Thrive's customer service, the **************** already reviewed my escalated issue, and decided the charges are valid. This is AFTER I have been incessantly pinging with ****** and Sbonlo in chat, explaining that I did not authorize these ********** NOT use Thrive Market. Their security is clearly a joke, and their customer service is even worse.

    Good Morning *** or Madame,

    I am reaching out to let you know that I have spoken with Thrive this morning; specifically with a **************** representative named *****. She was more than helpful! After explaining my interactions with the Thrive team yesterday, she read the chats between myself and ******, and also reached out to the fraud department. Our conversation lasted 25 minues, and within that time she was able to (1) be efficient and review my chats from yesterday (2) contact the fraud team and (3) issue a refund for the fraudulent activity on my account. Additionally, ***** confirmed the Thrive team will be flagging the address the fraudster used to place the orders, and reporting the fraudulent activity to the authorities.  Lastly, because ***** was able to read the chat with ******, she has also flagged the interaction to management, so ****** can receive additional training due to her poor customer service. 

    At this time I would like to close this complaint, seeing as ***** was wonderful and righted the wrongs of yesterday.

    Thrive Market requires a subscription membership in order to be able to order groceries. I thought I cancelled the membership but realized that they had been charging me for 2 YEARS without my knowledge. I didn't know because they never sent one email communication about renewals, my account, or options for maintaining my membership. Every other subscription I hold sends at least something to stay in contact as their customer. **********************'s model is hoping folks like me don't notice we're still paying $12 per month, which I didn't. When I reached out to them to try to resolve the issue, they refused to give me a credit.

    I "signed up" for thrive. I got my first shipment and everything was good and fine. But I didn't want another shipment. I received a text saying my autoship order would be sent Nov 5, so I needed to go on and verify my order. It's nearly impossible to figure out how to cancel. So I reached out to customer service via chat. They told me my autoship was cancelled and I wouldn't receive another order. Then, on Nov 5, I received ANOTHER text saying my autoship order would ship Nov 6, so I needed to go online and verify the order. I clicked on the link in the text. It said I had no orders pending and I wasn't signed up for autoship. There were no items in any basket or any sign of an order.Then tonight (Nov 7), I get an email saying my order had shipped!!! I am infuriated!!!! I can't find ANY phone numbers to call. And the chat feature sends me back to some screen where it tries to sign people up. At this point, I feel this is a scam. I need my order refunded and any membership canceled and fees refunded.

    Last year, I did a free trial membership with Thrive Market. I was in the hospital when the trial was up. I was just charged again on the 3rd despite thinking I had cancelled. Their site does not let you remove your credit card information so while the apparently canceled my membership and refunded me (I do not believe it for one second), they will not remove my credit card information from their site which is completely unethical. I want my credit card information and personal information removed from their system immediately.

    Thrive Market is a SCAM. I cancelled this membership directly and through AMEX in 2020 and am still being charged. They have deceptive business practices as clearly shown by the * rating on BBB. *O NOT JOIN or you will never stop paying and wasting your time trying to cancel and get refunded.
