American Dental Solutions boasts 15 locations on their website. **** only has 12 licenses for ********************** on file. The ********* location, facility on ******** in ******* referred to here, ******** in *********** and E High St in ********* all appear to be unlicensed according to the official ********** when I called and asked the ADS agent what the facility license number was, she gave me a fake number. When I went directly in to the Lancaster office, they basically ran me off and told me they weren't telling me anything.

Good Afternoon, upon receipt of this complaint we would like to begin y saying that these allegations are unfounded. For many years the ************************ (****) no longer requires dental office to be licenses. Instead they focus on the licensing and regulation of individual dentists. The **** functions to regulate the profession of dentistry ensuring that licensed dentists adhere to standard and regulations.  Every Doctor, at all of our locations, are absolutely licensed and please feel free to go to the state website: *********** and search any and all of our Doctors to verify their licensure.  While we appreciate his questions, be assured we follow all the regulations required and no refund is due back due to this allegation.  Thank you-***************** Team

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

       Complaint: 23372718

I am rejecting this response because:
The State Board of Dentistry assured me this location is not in compliance and I still have an outstanding bill of over $7000 for final dentures never made ir even fitted.

They are also paying for fake reviews to boost their cratering ****** reviews.

      Regards,

      *** *******

I made an appointment for 4/4/24 with American Dental on ******** to have my teeth cleaned. Without my consent, they took many X-rays and declined to clean my teeth. I had to ask the dentist to explain the x rays and why they wouldnt clean my teeth. She told me that since I wouldnt agree with her assessment there was nothing for her to do. So I left the office without getting what my appointment was ****** insurance company paid $50.40 and I was billed $131.60 for treatments I did not authorize and did not get the cleaning I made the appointment for. I have refused to pay the bill and they are now sending it to collections.I hope that you can help me with this unfortunate situation.Thanking you in advance,**** ****** ****************** ************ or ************

      Business Response

      Date: 01/08/2025

Good Afternoon, upon receipt of this complaint we have investigated our patients allegations. She did come to us for one visit hoping for a cleaning, as many patients do on their first visit.  We did the proper diagnostic studies to evaluate her and diagnosed her with a periodontal condition that was sever enough that a normal cleaning would have been an inept course of treatment. Therefore, the Doctor gave her professional recommendations to address her periodontal conditions. The patient chose not to follow the Doctors advise, which is her prerogative. However, our clinical office policy is to diagnose and treat the systemic periodontal disease.  We feel we are clinically responsible/liable if we would have ignored her periodontal condition and just chose to clean her teeth and not addressed her unhealthy gums.  We feel that is a clinical standard that we cannot compromise, her condition required more detailed attention as she was informed.

Treatment was rendered 4/4/24, our collections policy is standard, that any service we provide that is not paid follows our normal ******** day collection process, which is stated in our financial policy she that signed before treatment was rendered. While we understand she may not agree with this opinion and be frustrated with our policy it does not mean that we did not provide the services for her evaluation and xrays and we feel we should be compensated for it.       Thank you, Am Dent Management Team
