      I first contacted Modern Gas In ************,*** in April 2025 ( to provide work at my home involving propane fireplaces and to connect the fireplaces to tank). They came ou in April 2025 and did not have the proper equipment to do the job, and stated they could not find the line because it would take 2hrs. to uncover the line ( dig it out ). My spouse uncovered the line by digging for 10 mins. They had to come back , I was placed on the **** in JUNE 2025. I had to report one of the workers, and again in August 2025. This company is terrible !!!! Modern Gas was good when the grandfather and uncle were in charge. I believe some workers have studied on line ------- not enough hands on experience. The owner and workers are RUDE!!!!!! They act as if they are doing you a favor !!!!!!!! I would never recommend this company!!!!!! The only nice one is **** The owner didn't introduce his self and they take no pride in their work. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!! THere work is terrible!!!!!

      Was a customer for the past 10 years 2014 until last week. Modern Gas came and shut of my Tanks on 12/19/24, left me and my family with no heat, snow storm the next day with 6 inches off snow and the coldest temps it been all year single digits and 5 days before Christmas. They never called me to let me know they were shutting me off, never mailed/ email me, the tech did not even leave a letter or invoice on the door. I had a past due amount of $515.00 for some work that was done inside the home and to fill the tanks. tanks where filled on 9/12/24 bill was adjusted on 10/1/24 had them fix my fireplace on 10/23/24. New balance was $703. I paid a potation on 11/15/24, of & $225.
      I had no made a payment since then, I am at fault here for not paying my balance in a timely manor, but after 10 years of service with modern, they have never had to shut me off and they have always called to advise.
      They should not be able to treat customer this way and wait till the coldest days to shut off your service and not even make an attempt to contact the customer, how many other customers are out there freezing now and just trying to keep there children warm.
      They should have the same rules as PPL or other utility compines.
