This company was deceptive, misleading, and never communicated with me their loan process. After work was done the salesman presented me with papers that was unbenoneced to me to be a contract and having poor eyesight and having to sign under much duress was surely stressed.**, ********* did not explain much of anything. He mostly pointed out things and said he would sign and date when he got back to wherever. *************************************** dated, signed and submitted paperwork without me signing nor seeing the finished paperwork. I had to ask ******* to email me a copy of the paperwork on 7/7/23. I called today to see what kind of loan it was and if it was fixed interest. ******************** signed and money paid to him in my name. I qas never contacted about any loan at all. ******************** used my information and forged some. I have paid this company 3 times $479.55. He did not give me the 20% off.

I have put 10 or more reviews on my bbb page.  I was never told that you were looking into it.  I am paying a lawyer to represent my interest in a fraud and identity theft matter. Thanks for your time and efforts.

I will let my lawyer handle this.

On 5/3/23 ******************************* signed a contract with me, the project manager, *********************************** to build a 320 square foot Trex deck as well as cut a completely new 2nd story doorway into her kitchen wall and install a energy star steel entry door and security door with jamb, trim and capping. We were also hired to pour 70 square feet of concrete under the deck and rebuild the cornice on her front ***** and side where needed. The price was $29,971 for everything. She put a $4000 deposit down by check, then filled out and signed a credit application to cover the balance. When the bank approved the loan asked for Proof of Income, she sent over documents to prove her Social security and 2 pensions. The work was performed through June with her occasionally sending text how beautiful everything was and how well our installers were working.

On June 27th, she signed finance paperwork for the loan with Mariner Finance. This includes a Completion certificate, Notice of Cancellation for the loan, as well as 2 other pages with signatures and 4 pages
requiring initials. She was very happy. She later cleared the phone survey which is always done by Mariner Finance before funding us and we were $25,971.00 by Mariner on July 7th .

On July 16th, we received an envelope of a complaint filed with the Office of the Attorney General of **. On August 16, 2023 our engineer *** went and met with her on July 20th to find out what issues there were. She showed him a few small service issues such as tightening a fascia board and caulk touch up. Nothing major. He arranged to bring a ********* back with him on the next Monday July 24th at 12 noon to touch up her issues and meet her and her daughter. When they arrived on that Monday the 24th at 11:50am, ***************** told
him she was ill and her daughter wasn't coming.

Attorney General ***************************** has worked with both parties and determined that all signatures of **************** were legitimate. Since she has claimed (after job completion) that she wanted to pay cash and not finance, **************** communicated to her (As have we) that the loan she received can be paid in full and accrue no more interest at any time. No prepayment penalties, or penalties of any kind.

******* Bank has also verified all the correspondence & documentation. They communicated to both us and **************** that both the loan and signatures are all authentic, legitimate, and will be upheld.

As can be seen on our ****** and heard by our countless customers, we have served ************ with integrity for over 30 years. Even now we wish nothing more than to come to resolution with **************** and make her happy however we can, even if that means a resolution that is not necessarily fair to us. However we have tried to reach and meet with **************** and every member of her family for months and received no response.

These are documents I pulled from the file. She states in the complaint that she didn't sign or that she signed under stress. I actually dropped the ******* docs off at her home to her and her grandson the day prior so she had time to read over them thoroughly before signing. She also expressed happiness and gratitude later the same day *After* signing. Even though the entire transaction was legitimate and by the book, we have offered her compensation and even tried to meet with her and her family to understand what she wants and she refuses. We are completely at a loss for what to do and grow weary of the whole thing. We would very much like to find resolution so that we may be done with the matter, please advise on how we may accomplish that. Let me know if anything else is needed from us.

Thankyou. I have a lawyer that is handleling this matter. It has not been about the work that was done.  I know it has to be paid for. The company never told me about any process. I never told them I was happy about anything. The company applied for these loans, forged my signatures, provided my drivers license information and all or most information they provided on the applications are incorrect.  The first application for a loan was denied because they provided no identification that applied to me and even their contract information is not correct.  They continue to tell untruths on me.  They took the contract filled it out and submitted it without me seeing a finished copy. They apparently submitted incomplete and incorrect information on the other application as it was rejected and they have told me why. I did not give anyone permission to get any money. They did not have a signed agreement on the first day 5/3/23 and so they spent the entire time doing stuff to try to cover this up. What did my daughter have to do with it.  I never slept at night and that is why they received text from me. Happy is not a word I use. Happy is their word. I worked in the court system for 38 years and know something about rights. The person called me on 7/7/23 from a 240area code talking really low.  I never even knew that a loan was applied for. ******* never contacted me and my cell phone number is wrong on the forged document. They are not telling the truth. My daughter lives in her own home and attends to her own business. Privacy is an issue. They lie and don't know that I have everything. The AG was working for me and he has given me recommendations. The application and the contract that they altered, forged and stole is all wrong. My lawyer will handle. Who is to be paid. AHC paid themselves. Legal representation was advised by all persons and I have taken their advice.

    Thankyou for your help.

I have hired a Lawyer to investigate this stolen funds and identity theft case. There has not been any resolution and as of now I am still paying this loan that American Home Concepts fraudulently created. American Home Concepts has not provided me with any paperwork on how they got paid with a check that they say I applied for.
