      Dealing with a claim right now where we are trying to fix a property in Fairbanks, Alaska and we literally have been waiting on getting paid for what seems like forever. They hired a 3rd party company as a consultant on a $400,000 claim which is pathetic. The whole process is such a joke. Worst insurance company in 12 years of business we have ever done business with by far.

      Philadelphia Insurance Companies customers report a 97% satisfaction rating for claims handling. The complaint is not a Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company (PIIC) Customer, he is a contractor hired by our insured customer. All payments are issued directly to the insured and the insured will need to pay their vendors.

      Absolutely the WORST claims handling department. Their insured caused damage to my vehicle. After several weeks they sent out an adjustor who took photos etc and advised me Philadelphia would have his report in a few days and then they would issue me a check.( approx. $2,000) Weeks went by and although i sent several requests for updates all I got was " were investigating" or the claims person( Christina ) was on vacation. Finally left a message for a manger ( Kevin ) was also on vacation but he did call me when he returned to advise me they were denying the claim in spite of the facts !!. If anyone is considering securing a Philadelphia policy I would strongly encourage you to find another carrier. This company stinks !!

      Philadelphia Insurance Companies customers report a 97% satisfaction rating for claims handling. The complainant is not a Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company (PIIC) Customer, he is a claimant attempting to make a claim against our policyholder. Despite his complaint(s), he was not involved in the accident (it was his wife). Through PHLY’s investigation and security camera footage, we learned this individual’s wife crashed into a condo association security gate. The driver failed to stop at a security gate and for a stop sign, while attempting to “piggyback” through the security gate behind another vehicle. The driver did not make it through and struck the gate. PIIC’s customer (policyholder) is in agreement with PIIC’s decision to deny liability to complainant as the damages were caused by the vehicle operator’s actions.
