George P************** President at Technology Data Exchange Bala-Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, SEO SCAM I am a healthcare provider and minister. The week of 9/8/22 to 9/15/22 I paid George P************* of Technology Data Exchange ******** because he promised to get our services (colonics and ozone treatment in Austin) on the first page of ****** listings in our area of Austin. The search terms I requested were not used. Instead, obscure phrases that no one uses were used to easily get to the first page. But if no one uses those terms then his services are misleading and fraudulent. The purpose of hiring an SEO company is to be seen by people looking for your services using the common keywords that they would use which is easy to find because there are keyword checker apps that will tell you how many people are using which keywords who are looking for services you offer. This is a scam. We are still beneath listings under 100!Every time he gives another deadline, when I have threatened to start my complaints, he comes up with a new excuse. The bottom line is, he stole 2,200.00 dollars from us, did not get us on the first page of ******* not even close, actually we are worse off now. While scamming us and coming up with excuses at every turn, he ruined our ability to be seen by people looking for our services during what should be our busiest time of year. There is no way we can recover this last two months as SEO REAL SEO providers need 1 to 3 months at least to start improving ranking. Some things to consider about him:He only takes *****! If people use their debit or credit card they have protection with their banks from fraud and services or goods not delivered. I just got off the phone with my bank and was told there is nothing I can do about the services and goods not delivered because of the way ***** is handled. He promises 1st page ranking but uses phrases and keywords people would never use to find you. Useless! This is a scam!

    Business Response

ANSWER TO COMPLAINT:  The customer is making false and outrageous claim.  Her SEO payment was paid only after TDE had delivered a good number of relevant search results.  The customer was happy to pay us.  Her frustration is likely due to her lack of new business, which is a factor out of our control, since our work is limited to writing the SEO code which allows ****** to make a good search match.  Whether or not new business is generated is totally out of our control.

We encourage any interested party to review the long list of nearly 100 relevant keywords & search terms to which ****** is now responding with ****** 1st page *** results..  Please request the list as well as screen shots we already took of over 100 relevant keywords & search terms showing this client's website on ******'s 1st page... USE BBB reply feature to send us your request.

    1) The term SCAM, as used by the customer in this complaint is an outright lie, without merits and totally out of line . . . The client is either looking for free SEO service, or is simply confusing her SEO results with PPC (Pay Per Click) results, which are totally different.  PPC keywords can be any word in the dictionary for which the client is willing to pay ****** on a Pay Per Click basis, whereby SEO results are what ****** calls REAL WORLD SEARCH QUERIES, for which a website must be optimized.   The contain keyword in addition to adjectives, verbs and nouns.   This client is looking at her SEO results with her PPC mindset and is therefore confused.  Describing TDE's 1st class SEO results as a SCAM due to the customer cherry picking 1- or 2-word keywords which are outside the bounds of SEO shows a total misunderstanding on the part of the customer and is the cause of her frustration.

    2) This is an outright lie.  We never make any promises to anyone, other that we will address their keywords on their behalf, since ****** absolutely forbids the SEO profession from using the "G" word Guarantee.  So the only Guarantees we ever make is that we will address your keywords with ****** "White Hat" SEO protocol, and leave it up to ****** to create their Page Rank Order according to their SEO protocols..  This client has received over 100 relevant keywords, to which ****** agreed.  She is cherry picking on a few to justify a full refund without agreeing to follow through with several ****** requests we have received from ******, as part of the total SEO process.  We have urged the client to comply but she refuses.  She is a COPYCAT complainer, wanting free SEO by way of a full refund, even though we have successfully delivered a long list of SEO search queries, totally relevant to her business, all currently delivering her website on ******'s 1st page.

    3) This is an outright lie . . .   Nearly all of our SEO clients use credit cards. As a matter of fact, the only other complaint we have ever received did use a credit card but he was declined a chargeback by ****. He tried a 2nd time and was denied again.  This was a gentleman in the IT business who simply was looking to pick our brain in order to receive a free SEO education.  Although our SEO had delivered perfect search terms, the customer has cherry picked a few simply to justify a refund which was refused twice by his bank due to the undeniable proof provided buy us to show that our SEO implementation was indeed working perfectly.  The client refused to make adjustments to his website as requested by ****** in order to expand his range of search temrs, likely because he knew very well the results will be in our favor.  We have a feeling that this new COPYCAT COMPLAINTER has the same idea in mind.
