    Case #: 22537714                                                                                                                       11/12/2024

    To whom it may concern-

We were contacted by Mr. ***** in November 2022 to inspect the Fire Suppression System at his restaurant (Great Dragon). The initial inspection was performed (12/2022), and it was found that the cylinders were well beyond the timeframe set by the manufacturer to be hydrotested. The Technician informed Mr. *************** the second inspection, 6/23 Mr. ***** was provided with (2) proposals (7/23). The options were that he could either hydrotest the cylinders or purchase new cylinders.
    We received NO RESPONSE!

In January 2024 we provided Mr. ***** with an updated proposal (increase in price ($140.00) due to manufacturer price increase.)
    Again, NO RESPONSE!

Mr. ***** contacted us in June 2024 and a Technician was dispatched to survey the job and meet with Mr. *********** letter was sent explaining the issues (Detection Line repair/Replace Cylinders) with the system and a proposal to repair was provided.
The proposal was priced at $3522.00 not including sales tax,the actual invoice $3217.29 which included a 5lb ABC Fire Extinguisher ($88.70)not included in the proposal and sales tax.

On 10/25/2024 Mr. ***** contacted our office to notify us that the system had discharged, while on the phone he immediately said that I did nothing wrong and Do I need to contact my lawyer.

Swartz Fire & Safety dispatched 2 Technicians to the restaurant where it was found that a fusible link separated and the system discharged. This is how these systems are designed to operate.
Regarding the cylinders. Swartz fire and safety provided 2 spare cylinders so that Mr. ****** cylinders could be recharged at our shop. These cylinders will be returned to Mr. ***** on our next trip to **********.
Mr. ***** is a COD customer.
We would also like to note that there has never been any kind of threat made to Mr. ***** or anyone else for that matter. This statement from Mr. ***** is incorrect and deserves an apology to say the least.

    Sincerely,

    Swartz Fire & Safety *********************.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

And i will not apologize, cause this company sure threaten me. They took the recharge thing and threaten us for more money $1900, and it's good for 2 month but the life span should last 12 years. They are not honest, but i want to quickly resolve this problem.

I won't paid $1900, and this company will help me reinstall and give us back our things for no cost. And i need to get a actual time frame when will your next trip give us back? We want to get this thing over.

    Regards,
