    I bill for 1903.76 to come out and shut off an alarm that appears to be faulty was given. A payment plan was offered and then taken away. There is no opportunity to be heard. The bill is excessive and predatory. ****** reviews lists may other complaints of others who have had their alarm go off for no known reason and then sent large bills such as this. There was no objective/noticeable reason for the alarm to go off. There is no reset button for a unit owner to shut down the alarm avoiding unnecessary calls to either PFD or K-O'B. If the alarm is designed to be exceptionally sensitive, then it should be designed to turn off if it no longer senses any particles. Whatever, the K-O'B man's expertise, the fact that he had to disconnect the power to shut it off might imply there may be a problem with my alarm.

    Kistler O'Brien Fire Protection offers 24/7 emergency service for customers across its service area. There are certain emergency service fees which are in accordance with company policy and clearly communicated to customers upon requesting emergency service. This invoice in question reflects the appropriate amount within company pricing structure and does not exceed it. An explanation was given by KOB representatives when an inquiry was submitted regarding the invoiced amount. Kistler O'Brien team members from operations to customer support followed proper protocol while also ensuring the best protection of life safety equipment by adequately responding and fixing the issue the customer was having with their fire alarm system.
