    First Choice Exteriors abandoned our project. They began the project by delivering windows and doors. The doors were properly installed, but the windows were not level, did not operate properly, and were never insulated. While installing the gutters, First Choice caused damage to the existing roof flashing, allowing water to enter the house. They removed the siding from the back of the house and left it exposed for three weeks, resulting in damage to the exterior sub-straight, insulation, and drywall. The aluminum installed on the fascia was poorly done and required replacement. An employee of the sub-contractor chosen by First Choice was observed drinking alcohol on the job. We informed First Choice about this and requested that that employee not return. Despite our request, the same employee of the sub-contractor returned to do further work and we had to ask him to leave the premises. No one from First Choice ever returned to continue the work.
    This occurred in May 2022. We reached out to First Choice by email describing our concerns and inquiring about completion of the work. We received no response. Ultimately, we had to hire other contractors to repair the work First Choice started and to complete the job. First Choice contacted us several months later asking for money. They did not inquire about the job they never completed.
