    Michaels Paving LLC came and dug out our driveway and driveway extension October 13, 2023. On October 20, 2023 they paved it. I started noticing little dents and sinking in the black top and called Michaels in February (the driveway has a 12 month guarantee). They said they werent blacktopping because of the cold. Although he was supposed to come look at the driveway and never did. As the driveway got worse and started some puddling, I called again in the Spring. 3 times ******* told me hed come and take a look at the driveway and never showed up. On April 24th, I left work early to meet ******* at 2pm and he never showed up for that either. After an argument over the phone, he sent out 2 workers on May 3rd to view the issues in the driveway. They attempted to fix issues with a hand tamper. When the workers called ******* (the owner) they had told me ******* was giving me a new driveway. Thursday, May 23rd a guy from Michaels Paving LLC came to the door and said they were re-paving the driveway tomorrow. They showed up and re-paved the driveway Friday, May 24th. When I came home and saw the work, I was furious. I was no longer able to back my work van up the one side of the driveway. It was all the way up to my siding in the back- making it the same elevation as our garage subfloor, and it pitches back towards the garage door in the front. All these issues are things I talked to them about when they paved the driveway the first time in October. They also left our hose on, left food and trash in the street, ripped my downspout trunk hose, and got black top on my rock garden.When I presented these problems, Michaels says they think it looks great and are refusing to fix the issues of the driveway. *I have many pictures but they wont fit in this message!

    I am rejecting this response because:
    They not only created an incline too steep with the second layer of blacktop, they purposely created a dip in the driveway so my work van can back up. That is an asinine solution.

    We will be seeking legal counsel to obtain our refund.
