We were given a price to change my well pump from a jet pump to a deep water pump. The price was $2,350.00, we were billed $3,750.00. After numerous calls they sent me an itemized bill which included numerous parts and services that were not done. I could not get a call back to explain the bill, so I deducted the charges for the things that werent done and sent them a check for $300 over the price. Someone called to say they are retuning my check and taking me to court. Still would not explain the bill.

I was having an issue with not having any water on 10/31. I contacted my plumber who determined it was probably related to the well pump control box. I had a receipt for this work that was done 6/8/20. The plumber encouraged me to contact the previous company as it was probably under warranty. I contacted the company and was informed that it was under warranty. An older gentleman came out and said that he was wrong that control box was only covered for one year, but it would be covered as he had informed me it would be covered. He reported that the well pump warranty was 5 years. They fixed the issue the following day. On 11/18 I received a text from **** at CS Garber about the bill coming back to him and what was my address. I explained that I was told that the work was covered under warranty. First, he said no it was out of 5-year warranty. I explained that it was not, and he said he would check paperwork He said that the parts were covered but not work. He said he would get back to me. Then in mid-December, I receive a bill for work and parts, except the pump. I have called 3 times to speak with **** and he has not been available. As I have told the worker I spoke with at CS Garber, I don’t expect a service performed 2.4 years ago to go bad unless there is a defect or issue with workmanship. How did the pump, control box and tubing all go Bad? How is a bill for 1200 anything covered under warranty?
