Problem started 8/24 notification was 10/24 , also notified BBB same time . Hydrolics quit working 8/24 . ******* has 6 year warranty on tractor and 2 year
on Hydrolics. Bought tractor 10/22 and there saying out of warranty, not true . Notified BBB either 9/24 or early 10/24 . Called them multiple times .Business Response

Customer bought this tractor that had a 6 year powertrain warranty. At the time of the purchase the customer claims to have not received bound owners manual booklet. A book version of this manual was not available from the Manufacturer, so we offered to give him a printed version multiple times. Customer refused in each instance, while continuing to complain for not having the book. Customer installed his lawn mower improperly, causing damage to his mid mount PTO shaft. Our dealership offered goodwill to the customer by picking up the unit for free, fixing his issue for free, and delivering the machine back to the customer for free. In addition to that we have given the customer over $100 in additional free items to appease him for his owners manual.
Per our records, Customer contacted us in November regarding an issue with his hydraulics. He wanted us to pick up the unit for free. This time we informed him that there is a pickup and delivery charge. After complaining about not being able to get the machine to us and that he shouldn't have to pay the dealer to drive over 100 miles each direction to get his machine. The next week the machine was sitting at our dealership when we arrived. Fortunately he found a way.
We spent 6 hours looking into his issue without a resolution, and 3 hours communicating with the Manufacturer. The Manufacturer denied paying any diagnostics or repairs as the hydraulic system on the machine was out of warranty. At this point Customer was given the option to begin paying for future diagnostic and repair or to come get his tractor. He chose the latter and picked up the tractor. The dealership did not receive, nor did we ask for any compensation for the time invested.
Customer is also has stated that the problem started when we fixed his mid-mount PTO and it the hydraulic issue was our fault. This story does not make sense however, as the Mid-PTO has nothing to do with the hydraulic system and was not touched in previous repair. In addition to this, if the problem started immediately after we worked on it, why was this problem not communicated for over 2 months?
All that being said, I truly do feel bad that this customer is not happy with his product. I wish his issue fell under the manufacturer warranty, and until reading this complaint I was not aware that he claims to have reported the issue to us prior to the warranty expiration. I will go through our call notes for October and see if I can find anything indicating as such. If I can, we will go back to the manufacturer and see if we can get any authorization to move forward.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I disagree with them saying that I didn't call in before November. They have lied to me numerous times!! I am not happy with the way they run their business and will continue to file complaints until they stand behind their product and fix the problems!! As far as then saying I waited 2 months before complaining after they fixed the other issue that is not true. It may not have been immediately but I didn't try the bucket right away because I didn't need it on then. I spoke to them numerous times regarding the problem and they just kept passing the buck to other people until I finally had to borrow a trailer to take the tractor to ***** myself!!

We have been working with the manufacturer to try and get warranty to take care of the customer. The customer service from *** (the manufacturer) tried to call the customer regarding his issues with the intention of finding a way to help him. The last call consisted of the customer picking up the phone and saying "quit calling me, Stupid" and immediately hanging up. Since this point the Manufacturer seems to have lost their desire to help the customer. To date the manufacturer has told us that the first step would be to drain and re-fill the fluids as it is possible that metal shavings are in his hydraulic system. If this fixes the problem the change of fluids would under normal circumstances be considered maintenance, not a warranty defect. The customer declined paying to have this done, thus making it very difficult for us to continue with diagnostics. We want to help but have exhausted our ability to do free work for this customer. Any future work would need to be covered by the manufacturer or the customer.Customer Answer

We bought a SSR Bison 400U side by side from Leisure time Honda East Columbus Ave. Corry Pa 16407
We have had nothing but trouble with it. It has spent most of the time in the shop.
They don't seam to be able to fix it.
Most of the time it won't start. It is hard to put in gear and park.
They actually insinuated that it's because we bought a cheaper model. $13,000 is cheap to them but not to me.
They have had it the biggest part of the last two and a half months.
I think we should get a replacement for it because the are unable to fix it. I also bought an etended warranty.They have not bothered to call us about it.
Our side by side only has 33 miles on it in one whole year.

I sent you an email about the SSR 400U side by side we bought from Leisure Time Honda in Corry Pa. I don't have a case number yet. I wanted to add some information to my complaint. Our machine has been there for weeks again, with not even a phone call from them. I called and asked what they have done about it and they put their supervisor on. The supervisor asked me to hold while she went out to look at it. She then tells me that they were having problems starting it but every time the mechanics looked at it , they had no problem starting it. So she decided the reason the mechanics could start it because (THEY REAR HEAVY STEEL TOED BOOTS). The last time it was there they said the brake needed adjusted now they say their going to send for a brake sensor. Even though it's sat up there for weeks without them doing anything. I know that I said they should be given A new side by side with the extended warranty I paid for. We would still settle for that but at this point I would rather have our money back so that we could get one from some place else. Leisure time put a new timing chain and tensioner on my side by side, all parts purchased at their store and work done at their store. 64 miles later my side by side won't start, we brought it back to Leisure time and they tell me my timing "belt" which was an actual chain not a belt, they didn't know the difference, was to tight, the timing chain that they put on. Than they tell me it would be $500 to adjust it, I didn't pay $500 for the brand new part to be installed. They won't fix their mistake and they shouldn't be able to conduct business this way.Business Response

Leisure Time has 2 locations, one in Corry, PA and one in Bradford, PA. I have thoroughly checked both systems looking for the customer information and details on the work performed. I was unable to find the name and phone number of the customer that filed this complaint. We have never had a customer by that name or phone number entered into our system. Therefore, I am unable to correct this situation because there are no records of us working with the customer that filed this complaint.
