      I got a quote from Michael for a whole house generator. Since it was during Covid it took a long time to get all the items in stock. Had the generator installed about a year and a half. The crew who came to do the install were not professional. They damaged plants and left cigarette butts and garbage at the site.

      Since I was not happy with their service I recently hired a different company to do the yearly maintenance. I was shocked when I found out that the piping Maximus used for the installation did not meet code and were a fire hazard. They are supposed to be copper. That’s not what they used. They skimped on materials. I now have to pay the new company $750 to do the install the proper way. In addition, the day the new company came to fix the piping they discovered that the generator was put directly on the ground, in the dirt. It should be on a concrete slab and a pad. Thats going to cost us an additional $400. Maximus is not a company that I would ever recommend to anyone! They have no problem taking your money but when you call for assistance they take forever to respond or do what they’re supposed to. Also, from the time I got my estimate to the install he tried to charge me an extra $2,000. He blamed it on Covid. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
