According to our records, the customers stair lift was installed on 01/31/2023.  This stair lift was funded by a third-party insurance company. Customer called on 07/26/2024 stating that the stair lift was not working.  We scheduled a service repair on 07/29/2024 to repair the stair lift.  The stair lift was completed dead, and the batteries were dead.  The stair lift was covered in paint and dry wall dust which caused the stair lift to not work properly.  The drywall dust got caught up into the motor.  The customer had work down in the house and did not have the stair lift covered during this time.  Batteries are not covered under any part of the warranty.  This was explained to the customer several times.  Customer paid for the service repair on 07/29/2024 for the labor & materials $500.  Customer called again on 08/14/2024 stating that stair lift is not working again.  We return to the customers home on 08/28/2024. We found move of the same issues, stair lift was covered in paint and dry wall dust.  There was cardboard stuck in the motor causing the motor not to work properly.  This issue also caused the batteries to die out.  Customer refused to pay for service repair on 08/28/2024.  We have all the service technicians documentation and photos of the stairlift.  Customer is not taking proper care of the stairlift.

Stairlift is stop working again. Notified the company and was informed they cant come until I pay $500 for service call on 8/28. I tried to explain the stairlift broke two days after it was to be fixed last month. The company to a month to come back . She replied we have pictures that something was in the machine. I replied I believe anything was in there because they would have found two days before. She wanted to argue. So I stop her ask are service men coming back out . She stated no because you have a balance. I thank her and hung up
