    Tate Home Construction was hired on May 6, **************************************************************** **********, ************. Construction at our home began on June 6, 2023. The project was completed on August 16, 2023. We were extremely dissatisfied with the amount of time the construction process took and the lack of professionalism from the Mr. **** and his crew. On February 22, 2024, we received an estimate from another company to complete additional work on the deck, like enclosing the underside of the roof. To our surprise, this company raised several concerns with the structural integrity of the structure that Tate Home Construction built.We contacted ************************* to assess that structure that was built. The concerns raised were validated in the engineer's report. We then received numerous estimates to address the repairs, which totaled more than the cost of the original project. We sent a letter to Mr. **** on April 19, 2024 demanding payment for the repairs that needed to occur. We gave him 31 days to respond, yet we received no response.On June 7, 2024, we filed a civil complaint against Tate Home Construction with the honorable ******* ********, magisterial district number 27-3-05. The court hearing took place on August 21, 2024. During the hearing, the only evidence that Mr. **** offered was correspondence from the North Franklin Township inspector that stated the deck inspection had failed.On August 26, 2024, the judge ruled in our favor, granting us the full amount requested. As of February 10, 2025, Mr. **** has yet to pay us the amount that was decided upon by the honorable ******* ********.
