      Bought lift chair from Concordia nursing home.01/09/2020. One month later the leather on head rest started to peel. Was told to call Concordia medical ,there I was told all labor had to be paid in advance. the warranty and the rep at golden ,including ed not sure of title, said that the labor was cover. It has been 18 month under a three year warranty and we still cannot get the chair fixed. They sent a rep to the house and we were told that they could fix the most recent problem were the,lift ing mechanism is broken. But we must first pay the labor before they would even look into ordering part from the manufactorer. Since I can not sleep in a bed nor walk well it is a hard ship on me for this chair not to be usable. We paid 1100 $ for this chair and cannot afford to pay for a second chair. Golden an Concordia medical act like there is no warranty .it is clearly written in the booklet that we have.

      In response to complaint ID ********* We received the customer’s complaint regarding repairs to his seat lift chair that he believes should be covered under warranty. In this case, the manufacturer’s warranty covers only the necessary repair parts, with labor charges being the responsibility of the customer. He continues to dispute that the labor charges are not covered under the warranty. After further review, it has been decided to replace his existing seat lift chair with a new one of the same model (****** **** * ***************. The replacement will be at our expense with no cost to the customer. He will keep his existing chair as it is his property. The customer has been informed that the provision of the replacement seat lift chair will end the relationship between the two parties. The customer states that he understands and agrees with this as a suitable resolution.
