On July 13, 2023, my daughter agreed to re-join the Devil Dogs for the 2023-2024 season, and I issued a $200 deposit to hold our roster spot. On July 24, 2023 the head coach of the team had called me to inform me that the team had folded due to lack of players, and my daughter was the only one left. We thanked him for his time and moved, Being that we did not choose to leave the team, and the team that we placed a deposit down for no longer exisited, we expected to get our deposit back. After a few months passed, I reached out to inquire about the status. I have sent 5 emails to the owner of the organization and his wife (who runs the business side of things), and have receied zero response. There were other folks in the same boat as me (who were called and were told that the team folded) but received their deposit back, yet they are arbitraily avoiding refunding me (my guess is that the organization is in financial trouble). Attached you will find proof of payment to them, as well as the various emails I sent requesting a refund. I am hoping that the BBB can help resolve this quickly, but as I mentioned in my last communicaiton to them, I will take them to court if necessary.
