I agreed to have 7 Excavating and Paving replace my driveway on 6/7/2023, based on an e-mail quote dated 8/31/2023 from the e-mail account of ***************** sent by *** who represented 7 Excavating and Paving and had previously visited my residence to inspect the existing driveway and take measurements, for the sum of $1500.00.The driveway was replaced on 6/8, not 6/7 as scheduled with no notice and not to the specifications outlined in the quote. However, I was okay with the explanation given by ****** at the time. They did not remove the existing base and only removed the top asphalt and replaced that. When they were finished, I was told that someone would return within a week or so, weather permitting to seal the saw cut joint they made between my new driveway and the neighbors existing driveway. It has been over two months now and numerous calls to ****** leaving repeated messages that have gone unanswered. I have also reached out to *** via text message and his response has been that he would try to reach ******. I did actually speak to ****** on Friday, 10/20 and he assured me that someone would be out to complete the job by the following Tuesday, 10/24. Again, another no show with no communication to me. I have tried numerous phone calls to ****** and a text to *** with the same results.I am pleased with the job so far, was very accommodating to the crew when they did their work, providing cold drinks, access to the bathroom and a nice tip of $20.00 each x 5 workers on the job, I even provided a gasoline/oil mixture for their saw when they ran out. Also, I did not make the fact that they did not complete all the tasks outlined in the quote based on ******'s explanation a big deal. However, the sealing of the seam between the two driveways is critical to the stability longevity of not only my new driveway, but also the neighbors existing driveway. Unfortunately, I paid them in full via a check made out to *** *****, LLC per their instructions.

Someone from was finally sent to seal the driveway on Monday, 10/13/2023 and they did a very poor job, almost looks like they did it that poorly out of spite. I called and let *** know how bad this looked and forwarded a picture for him to judge. *** called me on Wednesday, 10/15/2023 and said he spoke with ****** and they both agreed it look like c*** and stated they would  be out to correct it. *** would call me as soon as it is scheduled and that it would be in the next couple of days. I have not heard from anyone since and the seam is still a mess. I have attached pictures so you can see for yourself.
