I took my car to Costa Oil and instead of changing my oil, they drained my transmission fluid. They told me I was all set to leave, and when I pulled away, my car started shaking and making a grinding noise. I turned around and as I drove back in, the mechanics heard it and told me they made a mistake. We will be taking to another mechanic for a transmission diagnostic. If nothing is wrong, Acosta will not pay for the diagnostic.

My husband took his truck to get an oil change at the same garage that I took mine too. After the oil change he was never given a receipt and the fluids were not topped off or inspection done on other parts of the truck. Which in the ad it clearly states 18 point inspection and fluid topped off with oil change. After leaving the garage, my husband drove home and made it to *********************, Chambersburg, PA *********** where the truck completely shut down. My husband go out of the truck and oil was everywhere. When upon opening the hood the oil filter had completely blown off and oil drenched the motor of the truck, side walls, battery, alternator, and other major components of the motor. Oil was everywhere and dripping from the under carriage. I immediately called costa oil and they sent the same guy to the place where the truck broke down and had him replace the oil and filter. He admitted to me on the phone that it was the wrong filter and that is why it blew off. He said to follow him back to the garage to clean the oil off the motor but when my husband got there, they just took a hose to clean it off. When I got home the motor was covered in motor oil. Since it was the holiday weekend, I had to wait to find someone to clean the motor for us. Then on today 5/5/23 my husband went to go to work and the truck shutdown. I called the dealership where we bought the truck to get it towed to there and they will look into it and see what is wrong, but he asked me if it was making a knocking sound and I replied yes. He immediately told me the motor has blown. Now Costa Oil will pay for all damages and replacement of my motor in my truck. Due to their negligence and not doing their job. I have videos after the oil change and of today of the motor making the knocking sound.
