    On Saturday, July 1, 2023 I purchased a 7'x18' trailer from *************************** at REX Trailers. Everything went smooth other then a small hiccup about the jack on the trailer, but we got that situated. After arriving home with the trailer later on Saturday night we measured the deck from wheel well to wheel well because it looked a little small to us and we didn't have a tape measure to do so at the time of purchase. The deck measured to be 82", which is about 6 feet 10 inches, not 7 feet. I contacted ******* right away and let him know of the issue and told him I would like to just return the trailer as it wasn't big enough for my needs. I contacted him numerous between 07/01/2023 and 07/05/2023 to tell him I wanted to bring the trailer back and got no answer or an answer that had nothing to do with my concern. I even tried calling him twice on 07/03/2023 and my call was declined both times. After telling **************** would be hiring a lawyer to deal with the matter, he finally called me and talked to me. This conversation went nowhere. He refuses to let me bring the trailer back even though he sold me the wrong size trailer. **************** also insists that all sales are final but that is stated nowhere on the contract. This experience has been nothing but unprofessional and childish. I have all messages, copies of both contracts, and screenshots of my call log to prove all of this

    Industry standard maximum width on trailers is 102" wide.  This leaves 82" between the fenders.  It is the customer's responsibility to know what they are hauling and if it will fit.  We had several conversations to verify exactly which trailer would suit her needs.  This complaint is not a reflection on REX Trailers.  This customer is upset because she did not do her due diligence on measuring her equipment.  All the specs and dimensions are listed in the product description.  This transaction was financed through a second party and can not be undone.  Title, lien, and registration paperwork has been completed.  All sales are final.
