    We reached out to mon valley signs after our marquee sign was hit and damaged by a semi truck in November of 2023. This sign had been in the same location for ***************************************************************************** February of 2024 mon valley signs reached out and had told us the sign cabinet was being assembled. The new sign was installed in March 2024. Within a few months we noticed the interior of the sign was moving in the wind. In October of 2024 we reached out to see if something could be done because the sign appeared to be coming out of the cabinet frame. In November it had gotten worse with one panel being blown inward and the other side beginning to become dislodged from the frame. We reached out via phone, website, ******** and any email we could find. Our employee even reached out to a friend that works there, and he stated that **** the owner was out of the country but would reach out to attempt to fix this. On January 6th we arrived at the store to find one of the panels hanging out and we had to take action, so it didn't fly out and damage homes or nearby traffic. We closed the store and parking lot and had to manually remove the panel as it was only being held by 1 side of the frame and falling out. The panels appear to have been cut short causing this to happen. We have been quoted at $6000 to replace the panels with the correct material for the wind load we experience and have been told this is improper material for the height of the sign.
