    I call Brandywine Petroleum to get fuel for my home. I call them to have my tank full up and, I let Brandywine know that my gauge was broke and fill it up. So they came out to top it off. So when I got my receipt, I notice that I was charge 7.00 dollars a gallon instead of the regular price 5.00 a gallon. I feel they are trying to take advantage of me and the situation. Fuel prices already high and to try to get more money out of me isn't right.So I'm contacting BBB to have somebody look into this claim, thank you for your support.

    I am in receipt of the complaint from *****************, I had  already talked to her on the telephone back in October after the delivery occurred.  I have examined the facts and I am confident that ************ was charged the correct price per gallon for the fuel delivered on 10/11/22

     

    Our pricing format  is the same as every other fuel company, the price per gallon is based on the amount of gallons recieved.   ************ did not take the 150 gallon minimum delivery to recieve the fuel at $5.199 per gallon, her tank filled up at **** gallons. Our daily price is available on our website.  I have attached a copy of the delivery ticket to this email.  You will notice that on our website & on the delivery ticket it states that the price per gallon is based on a minimum delivery of gallons, this is the same pricing format used by all  fuel companies.  You can check with other local fuel dealers and verify this.  *************'s tank is located aboveground and outside, she could have easily checked the tank level even if the gauge was broken.  We did not charge $7.00 per gallon & the oil was not $5.00 per gallon when she placed the order  as she states in the complaint.

     

    56.3 gallons @ 6.80 per gallon is $382.84, which is what we invoiced ************
