    DW construction came out and completed a front porch roof project. The project was completed in a timely manner and was done great. However, once the project was completed and we got our first rain after I noticed that the one gutter corner was leaking and water was over flowing the top of the gutter. Upon further investigation, I noticed that the gutter was filled with water because when they cut the gutter they cut off the connection to the down spout. I tried to get in touch with them and they ignored my calls and texts for months. I eventually got a hold through ******** and Was told the one guys wife was in the hospital but they would be out to fix it. A couple weeks later and now into December the problem still was not fixed. i called and texted again and they came out and said they fixed the problem. The problem was still not fixed. I continued texting and calling them until the Pittsburgh home and garden show where I went to them in person. When I talked to the owner he said he was told the problem was fixed and when I showed him pictures he said he would be out within the week to put on a new downspout. I reached out later that week to confirm the day and time he told me and again was ignored with no response. We are now almost a year from project completion and almost a year of me trying to get the problem fixed.

    I signed a contract with this company on 4/8/2022 and had to provide a down payment of $1,815. Work was supposed to begin 9/31/2022. As this date neared, I reached out several times to confirm the date and to get them what was needed so they could get a permit for the work. After several emails were not returned, they finally said they were really busy and would get back to me. Weeks later I emailed again (they never answer the phone). After several emails, they finally replied and said they were busy and would get back to me. Finally, on 11/4/2022, I sent an email asking for my down payment to be returned since they could not give me a date and rarely even replied to my emails. With no response to several more emails requesting my down payment back, I sent an email on 12/10/2022 advising that I would be filing a complaint with the State. Mike replied almost immediately and said would get my down payment back by the end of the year. At this point, I have still not received my check and Mike has failed to return any of my emails asking for an update as to if/when he sent the check.

    I contracted with DW Construction LLC on 4-28-22 to complete an under deck storage project. They cashed my deposit check for $1,323.00 on 5-10-22. The project was to be completed by 11/22/22. The project was never started. They ignored emails from me on 10-2, 10-6, 10-14 and 11-27. They ignored text messages from me on 11-10 and 11-29. They answered their phone one time in late October and said they would be scheduling the concrete soon. That never happened and they never contacted me about it. I provided a deadline for a response by them of 12-2-22 via email and text. They ignored the deadline and did not respond. They have never responded or proactively contacted me since cashing my deposit. It is too cold to pour concrete now and the project can not be completed this year. I asked if pricing and the deposit could be applied to next year in one message but as stated previously, they did not respond. Because of their failure to communicate, all I do know is that they have my money.
