    We hired jk kitchen to remodel our kitchen and a few rooms on may20th,2023. As we went there were some issues they assured us we could have them fix in a timely manner. That fell through and over time he stopped coming more and more to points he didnt show up for weeks. He left our house with leaks and fire hazard electrical issues. He had our whole first floor on one 20 amp breaker and left our panel box open for months. Our plumbing is still cut out in spots 6 months later and the new plumbing is level. There is no drain pitch so its only a matter of time till it has issues. We had to have anew contractor come to address the major issues,(wire and plumbing) so we could live in the house . and he now is avoiding us for weeks and has not refunded us any money. He did about half the job and hasnt been back because we cant trust him not to ruin the house again. We want him to shut down his business and refund us and countless others their money who have used him. He has currently a few court battles over remodels and business transactions. Please stop this business from harming others and let us recoup some of our losses.

    On 5/30/2023 we entered into a contract with the defendant for a bathroom remodel. The total sum paid for this project was $17,428.00. Prior to starting the project my wife and I reviewed samples of tile, and cabinet finishes in person. We also looked at types of shower doors via photos. We were under the impression that samples of other items to be used during the project would be shown as it progressed. During the work thus far, there have been numerous instances of poor work that had to be reported to the owner with photos provided each time. On multiple occasions we requested he personally come to view the problems; he never has. Photos with timeline and message strings attached for reference. (See After the placing of the tile, shower fixtures were installed. When we informed the owner, we did not like them, and did not choose them, he stated he showed us photos. We never looked at photos of any bathroom fixtures. He did not offer to remove and replace them with fixtures of our choice. When the vanity was placed in the room, it was the agreed upon finish. However, it was much smaller than anticipated, and did not have the wider drawers as we discussed. On that same day a mirror was placed on the wall that was much smaller than the mirror that was discussed. When this additional concern was addressed with the owner, his answer was I did not charge you for it. The shower was to have a wall mounted folding stool. This stool was never placed in the shower. As of today, 7/26/2023 the project is still not completed. The last communication with the contractor he stated he was waiting on a laser for the countertop; no mention of when the other problems would be corrected.
