      We contracted solar mason to install roof mounted solar panels in July of 2023.The project is not completed, and minimal work has even started.The contractor has been paid for approximately 95% of the job.Solar Mason has barely communicated with us in the past year (1 or 2 emails, 0 responses to phone calls or text messages)A previous complaint with the ************************ resulted in mediation giving a completion date of March 28, 2025. It is now past that date and no further work has been completed

      Beginning in April 2024, I worked with **** ***** ( contractor license #********** arrange for his company to install solar power on my then one-year old new home in **************, **. His company did the site survey on April 18, 2024. I was told that the solar power would be active before winter. I signed the contract on 30th, 2024. I gave Mr. ***** relevant information to apply for HOA approval. I was told that the purchase price of the total system, including all permits, would be $47,081.25. Starting in mid-July, Mr. ***** began rescheduling appointments. Since I needed to take care of grandkids, I gave him a key. After I heard nothing for WEEKS, he told me on 8-31 that "scheduling is pushing everything back so the clock has us closer to the first week of October." He said that it was "completely our fault" that "the wrong address was used to draft the initial plans."On 9-10, he said "we finally have engineering stamps." On 9-13, I received a notice that I was to pay for the entire system. Mr. ***** told me that this was an automated notice and reflected a "discrepancy within the system." On *****, I was told "we're still aiming to complete the project this year after both the township and township finish their review process." Then he said "we may need to. . .consider pushing the actual installation to the first week of spring." This was right after telling me that I should pay for the entire system and store the equipment in my garage until spring. He told me on ***** that he would send a screenshot of what he wanted me to pay when. I never received it. On 11-7 and *****, I asked him for information on the status of my project. I never received it. I asked my HOA If there had been a problem with the permit application, but I was told that no permit application had been made by Solar Mason.On 12-1, I asked that he return the key to my house by the end of the first week of December and return my deposit. I have heard nothing.

      It seems clear to me that this firm will not answer anyone. I believe that consumers should be warned about them, since I would hate to have anyone else go through what I have experienced. In addition to losing the deposit, now I will have to have all the locks on my house changed.

      But I appreciate your help.
