      I took my truck to Kost tire in Wilkes Barre Twp on 2/8/25 for a free alignment, tire rotation and balance. I had a 8am appointment and was only there about an hour. Before I left my house fir the appointment I marked both front tires with a marker. I marked the right with an R and Left with an L. After the appointment I drove away and just out of curiosity I pulled over and checked the tires to find out they weren't rotated. I went back to Kost and told the front desk Salesperson Jake about the tires not being rotated. He went and got the technician Jarred who worked on my truck and we all went outside so I can prove to them the tires were not rotated. Jarred immediately denied about not rotating the tires and lied about there being an R written on the tire when it's clearly noticeable then stormed off back into the shop. Jake did in fact admit seeing the R and had no explanation why they weren't rotated. This is a very shady thing to do to a customer regardless if the service is free or not. I hope this review gets through to corporate and they put a stop to this location from taking advantage of their customers by falsely advertising free service with the purchase of new tires. Jarred should be ashamed of himself for lying to a complete stranger and for not doing his job correctly.

      Bunch of liars. Didn't tighten sub frame after doing a steering rack repair. Doing permanent damage to vehicle. Car sent to junk yard leaving me with a $2700 bill. No resolution.

      If I could do zero stars, I would. First off, my husband works for **** itself, and the technicians work their butts off. My issue is with ********************* and *************************. My car was dropped off on Saturday, June 22, at 8 am. I was greeted by ****. I explained what was wrong, and he proceeded to call around and try to find the parts and earliest time they could be delivered. *** has no experience working with customers or how they should be treated. That incident was left for management to handle. We ordered the part from ************* on Monday the 24th. The part gets there on the 1st of July. I worked the whole week expecting to get a call saying the car was ready. Instead, I decided to walk in on Friday, July 5th, only to be treated with a hostile manager and his absolute lack of respect. To be honest, I used to work on cars myself, but with kids and work, I can not find the time. ***** said to me, and I quote, "If you want the car done today, get it the **** out of my shop and take that s*** somewhere else." Uncalled for since my car has been in your shop for 3 weeks. I have never been treated like this by anyone who works in the customer ********************** industry. ***** should be reprimanded and retrained as a manager and customer ********************** representative for ****. Not to mention, we ordered the part from ******* for *******. When ***** billed me out, he said he was charging me an addition 10%. My bill was $ 1590. Can someone else do the math because 10% of 1200 is 120. I'll do the work myself from now on. (********)

      They hid damage they caused while installing my catalytic converter on driver side. I know my car and 1st of all they installed totally different converter than the passenger side and most damage they caused wasn't even on the driver side that they replaced so how the hell do i have damage on exhaust that shouldnt have been touched!? had 2 go back SEVERAL times due to leaking converter and service engine light repeatedly coming back on, find out they caused more damage to my exhaust which i had to pay extra $300 to have their screw up fixed, at another facility. They tried 2 cover up damage with some kind of putty crap and totally messed up my car!!

      Stroudsburg Pa Location
      Sold me $300 of stuff I didn't need. Went in with a check engine light on and the car running rough. Spent $300 left with same issue. Bunch of crooks. Telling everyone I know never to go to a Kost location ever again. Will be contacting corporate tomorrow for a complete refund and explanation as to why the sales guy and tech are so incompetent but still allowed to work there.

      One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. They say the beat other tire centers prices but what a hassle that is. Then the customer service guy puts word in my mouth and we still never beat the other places price. I tried to speak with someone else who offered to help on my other vehicle but no luck there either. You would think they would try to make good on the horrible experience but no. It’s an absolute shame that a family business has gotten so big that they don’t care anymore. Then I put a comment on FB and they block me like a child. They can’t even handle the criticism properly. They are so bad. I will never recommend them to anyone.

      I called Mr. Tire for an alignment. They asked for my year make and model over the phone. They said they could do the repair and scheduled me for an appointment a week later. A week later, I show up to my appointment and it was as if I never talked to them before. They began asking the same questions that I had already answered over the phone a week ago. After telling them again, they said they couldn’t fix it and sent me on my way. They wasted a weeks worth of my time, gas to drive 20 miles to their garage and now my car has to go even longer with a bad alignment. I’ve never seen such absent minded customer service,

      Scammers.

      My car was running great, and getting ready for work, I took it to a car wash. Shortly after that wash, it was acting bad. Stuttering. Almost stalling. I couldn't imagine it was from the car wash, but I had to get to work. So I stopped in to see if they can help immediately. They did, but - charged me $671. For what? VPS GDI First Defense kit, whatever the hell that is, and ignition coils. There is no way. My car was running fine before the wash. After I had to pay this ridiculous amount, I realized I should have just waited. When it dried out it would have been fine. I can't believe - $671 bill for something I did not need. I'll never go back here again (Shavertown office)

      Car over heated. Took it to Stroudsburg shop for estimate. They were busy, so left the car there for them to look it over and call with the problem and estimate. They never called. Went back the next day and found that they had already worked on it and charged me almost
      $700. The invoice says that state law requires a signature for an estimate over $100 or a signature to waive this right. I was not given an estimate, and I never saw this invoice before the repair; and I never signed the invoice. THEY DIDN’T TALK TO ME UNTIL THE REPAIR WAS ALMOST DONE! The same problem with the car occurred a few days later. I called and was passed on to someone else who passed me on to someone else. They did not return calls when promised, so I had to keep calling. Finally they said the most recent problem must have been caused by something else (when the exact same thing happened!) They kept using the excuse that they would have to talk with someone else, or that person was on vacation, or……the usual stalling and blaming, hoping that we would give up and go away. I took the car to another repair shop that easily diagnosed the real problem and fixed it for $100. Either they are incompetent or looking to get as much money out of you as they can get away with, or both.
