    On March 8, 2023 I entered into a contract with Construction 87 LLC (Todd Emory Stephens) to install an epoxy floor in my basement at a cost of $3200.00, in which he accepted half payment of $1600.00 on that day. The floor was to be done in two parts ½ at a time. On April 21,2023 he had finished ½ of floor and requested more money, I then paid him another $800.00 on that day. May 12, 2023 was when he finished floor and final payment of $800.00 was given to him

    August 2,2023, I contacted 87 Construction Todd Stephens about the problem with my epoxy floor he completed on May 12,2023 He came on August 4, 2023 to look at floor and said moisture was trapped under floor and it was lifting in several places. He said he would order the material and come and repair the floor. I was in contact with him thru calls and text and he said he was having trouble getting material and would repair when materials become available. On Oct 6,2023 he texted and said the material is in and will schedule the repair. On Oct 28, 2023 he texted and said he will be down the week of Nov 6, 2023 to repair the floor. I have not heard from him since ,he has not answered my calls, texts, or email.

    I have since contacted 2 local reputable epoxy floor contractors Richards Epoxy Flooring of State College and Ultimate Concrete Resurfacing of Scotch Valley they both said that the floor was not prepped in a manner that would let the epoxy adhere to my existing floor, and eventually most if not all of my floor is going to lift. In both of their assessments the only way to correct the lifting of my epoxy floor is to come in remove the epoxy coating and do it all over again, at a cost of at least $3000.00 coming from Ultimate Concrete of Scotch Valley.
