I would like to Thank the BBB for helping me resolve this issue in as much as having the Company respond to the Complaint. Trulieve has agreed to make some change in there Training, different situations they may encounter and how to handle them properly, also they have agreed to make their discount program more transparent to the Clients. I have spoken to one of the Corporate Attorneys' and to a Regional Mgr, both were helpful, however the Attny was and is on the ball and understands where my disconnect was and is working to repair it. Changes take time and I understand that, so I will patiently wait and see. Trulieve Truly has reached out and de-escalated my issues at this time. It was really nice to be contacted by Professionals who do what they say, so far so good.

    Thank you

    Customer Answer

    Date: 04/30/2024

Thank you for allowing me to reply back to *******************' response to the BBB in reference a complaint I filed in reference to a visit at one of their facilities.

I do not dispute their supposedly status in the Industry or the products they provide to their Clients, however the statement "Trulieve delivers Optimal customer Experience", well it sure couldn't be proven by my Prior experience and based off several different review sites  including Trulieves' website  the reviews prove that this is a False statement based on Sub Par reviews, and for A Leader in their Industry, (in their words) to allow this type of Customer response and Attitude to evidently run rampant in their Company and to try and Justify it is beyond comprehension, where's the Commonsense aspect in just the **************** related disputes ??

In as far as the Discount Card, I don't understand how an implied discount printed on a card provided to Drs' to give out to a Patients upon renewal, with $75 off of $150 purchase is not implied yet it is the responsibility of a patient to search the conditions before using it, In my case i had the card issued upon my renewal and a couple of times the assoc would tell me not to use it because of what I was purchasing so this time I figured I had better use it before i lose it, so I went to the store showed the assoc the card and asked what I had to purchase to fulfill the ad and I made my purchase and went home, when I got home I looked up on Trulieves' website and the same items i had purchased were advertised on there for less than I had just paid for them. I printed out the ads online and went back to the store with my receipts
and spoke to a Mgr about the issue I was having and the ** came out and when he heard the conversation and I asked him a couple questions he replied "I'm done with you" and turned around and walked off. However this is why I am voicing my opinion in reference to the ********************** the rebates and incentives they offer are never applicable when you go to buy something because it's already discounted, I don't think I have ever received my Military discount for the same reason, but to earn that Privilege of a Veteran and be denied it's use because of what is purchased isn't right. Large Corporations that are Leaders in the Technological areas we live in today can process discounts and incentives in when their ID number is entered in the system and its done automatically, the way they operate now is BUYER BEWARE, do i need to shop around or investigate the internet before going to a Supposedly Leader in the industry or do I take them at face value and do business knowing in the back of my mind what they really care about is their revenue not on treating the Medical needy in a Professional and Fair manner. The Rebates and discounts in my opinion should be deducted off the total purchase and if 10 or 20 percent off of a $20 product is a big problem they aren't one of the Leaders in the industry as claimed and the discounts and such are just being used for perception purposes only, should the State do an audit on who or what Patients received versus what discounts they should have been given I believe it would show there is very little interest in the Medical needy and all about the money and maybe the State will pick up some revenue for mistaken reporting.

I do Appreciate the Fact (I Hope) that they are going to implement training requirements on how to and how not to handle Patient disputes. They also offered me a $150 credit which I have declined because I don't want such an insignificant amount to have seemed to influence my responses, though the gesture is Appreciated. I have never once asked for any refund of any kind, my purpose is to have Trulieve be  Fair with their promos and **************** as a Self imposed Leader in the industry can possibly be. I am a Vietnam Era Veteran and I don't ever remember any Veteran saying he wasn't qualified to go  anywhere in the world regardless.

Again I do think in my Opinion they are using Bait and Switch tactics and should the State do an internal audit it should be Apparent they have and are Bamboozling the Medical needy on a daily basis by advertising all the incentives on their website and never honoring them.

Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Please look at the several sites reviewing this company and make your own decision about their Policys.

    Sincerely

Since writing the above response, I have met with ***************** over coffee, we discussed my concerns and spoke about what may or may not be possible in the near future with regards to policy re: incentives-rebates. I Truly believe he will do what can be done within his power and is aware of the issues enough and understands both sides and will make a fair determination, so with that being said, I am going to postpone any further call to actions that I had will be placed on hold for 90 days so I may revisit the store a couple times and see if there are any noticeable changes for the better, and I will respond Good or Bad as I will encourage other friends, neighbors, and relatives to do the same. Trulieve is aware of my concerns now let's see what they do.

    Sincerely
