    Did not complete warranty service as required. I bought a Maytag washer from ******, and paid for the extended warranty on the appliance. The agitator stopped working properly, so I filed a claim with ****** extended warranty company(Assurian). I was assigned Fayette Appliance as the service provider, and they sent a tech named **** out to service it. He stated that it required a new motor, and he would order it and come back to install once it came in. When he came back, after the "repair" was done, the washer would not drain, all the clothes were sopping wet after the wash. We called back, and after he came out the third time, the original problem with the agitator was back, so we were back to the same problem we initially called about. I called to complain to ****** extended warranty, and they informed me that since Fayette Appliances had marked the warranty case "closed," I had to reschedule any follow up repairs with them, and I couldn't use another service provider since my extended warranty had now expired. They attempted to set up an appointment for Fayette Appliances to come back out, and told me that they will come back out the following Monday from ****. I waited for them to show up the next Monday, and they never showed, never called. Eventually ****** sent me a $499 e-gift card to purchase another appliance, but I want to warn anyone who requires appliance service that Fayette Appliance is not a reputable business, and if I could rate them Zero stars, I would.
