Please see estimates and invoices for detail work promised and agreed upon. We were told the work to be completed in a two weeks starting July 25th. The project overall took until the contractor called it quits around Sept 2 due to him unable to make us happy as he stated to myself and wife. He had to replace the tile flooring once because of grout failure and thinset never hardening. We had to have constant talks about the quality of his workers work. Rough terrible sanding and never priming the plaster prepainting. There is cracking in the walls where he did plastering, the enclosed exterior doorway and bulkhead and around every outlet. His workers never showed up for multiple days costing us daycare fees not needed since we were not told. Electrician did shotty not up to code work. Had to pay an electrician $200 to come in and code the electrical that was visible in the basement. Unsure of whats in the walls. Paint is peeling all over the place. Estimate from contractor to fix all cracking and priming entire kitchen and dining room and repaint is nearly $3500. There is an electrical junction box near an outlet that has one s**** retaining the cover and siliconed the other three screws in place. Asked to keep all wood trim which was tossed outside in weather for weeks. They replaced the window trim with something we did not ask for. The tile floor grout is cracking in many spots all over the kitchen. The exterior original door is still unbricked which is causing cracking inside because contractors want anywhere from $1000-1750 to brick. Not the few hundred Tairo told me. ***** had to buy a fridge because cabinets were hung wrong. Not my problem. We still have $5-6,000 more to get what we were promised. Communication was terrible. There were a minimum of 10 working days no one showed. They worked from 930 were gone by 330/4 everyday. Id like to get some additional refund to be able to pay for these items that still need finished or completely redone.

We understand the concerns of what you wanted discounted but as of our original quote it was only ****** on my behalf that started with the kitchen the original bid had stated that we will prep for masonry work but will not be doing that as we do not do masonry work nor do we do hardwood flooring. We also didn't have anything in there about hvac duct work however we did reroute the hvac for cabinet base and yes we did electrical but was apparently not up to the standard you wanted. Nowhere in my bid did it say I would complete this in 2 weeks because I know this included the install of countertops measure and cabinetry delivery which excluded about 3-4 weeks. We had just about everything prepped for countertops and yes my team did mess up the configuration for the fridge which is why I took it upon myself to purchase a new fridge to appease the client. Also it began with ******. We got the first half, then the second half we reduced it from ***** to ***** after I abided by my clients needs to try and appease them to our wrongdoings. I also purchased the fridge to appease them which was nearly *****. Also put in about ***** worth of materials and nearly ***** worth of labor costs. So final amount i discounted and left them ***** for finished product so an additional ***** I wouldn't be losing money. The kitchen was still completed the cabinets, range hood, hvac(which wasn't even mentioned in bid). I am unable to afford anymore towards discounts. I did my best to please and accommodate where I could but this does leave me at my very end and please refer to my original bid that never had a change order for any additional work.
