I bought a car (2018 Hyundai Elantra VALUE EDITION **** ****************** from america's auto auction erie, which I found it has many unannounced problems. I open arbitration within 10 days and demand credit of $2500, but jim young keep delaying the arbitration. he denied my claim in 20 days. they are very slow. seller's pictures are very blur, and seller didn't announce problems at all. but jim didn't review them and just simply ignore my evidences. Jim don't take my phone call or respond my voicemail.

    Business Response

The complainant did file an arbitration within 10 days.  He claimed the vehicle had codes for the airbag.  Initially, he refused to provide proof of his claims.  After talking to him many many times, he reluctantly agreed to send the proof that was required to support his complaint.  Upon receiving the photos of the codes, you could CLEARLY see the report was for an AUDI and NOT the Hyundai in which he purchased.  The incorrect vin was present in the report. At this point, The claim was almost a month old and past the time the buyer agreed to at purchase (10 days) we had absolutely nothing to turn over to the seller and could not warrant a return or a price adjustment because there was no proof to support the buyers claim.  At this point,  we stopped taking calls from he buyer due to the falsification of his claim.

We have the email thread from the complainant proving the data he provided was for a different car.  The email will support our time line and that we absolutely did address his concerns.

    Thank you

    the business is lying.

belows are my original arbitration: All 4 tires are worn out. Right front fog light is broken. Left front headlight is repaired and require replacement. Hood, front bumper, rear bumper, right front door, right rear door, right rocker panel have significant paint damage, which requires repainting. There are two codes including airbag code in the scanner.

the arbitrator keep delaying with various excuses. the sellers' pictures are blur and I can't see any damage. I send in wrong airbag code to the arbitrator, but I correctly send in all the other pictures. seller didn't disclose any paint damage. but the arbitrator jim simply ignore my requests and close it. they didn't follow naaa policy at all.
