I am a stay at home mom who works from home full time, and a kiln is a large part of my livelihood. David *. L***** of LCS Electrical and Contracting was recommended. He said it was an easy job, an afternoon maybe, & he would need to call the power company to turn off the power. 7/26/23 I paid him.He said he'd get started the following week.July 26 I got a text that he had entered my job into their system and were ordering supplies. He stopped twice after that to tell me he had someone coming out to dig a trench.Aug 25 I had not heard from him and decided to find another person to do the job. I texted and asked him for a refund. I don’t remember the date, but he stopped at the house after that and told me that he had fired his secretary. He put up the shell of the power box inside.Sept 11 he put several boxes on the ceiling with wires. I told him as we were doing a walk through deciding where outlets should go, if anything was in the way, please let me know and I would move it. He said he’d would & I went to the house. Sept 13 I noticed several broken items. I create animal figurines for a living, and 3 horses and 2 dragons were smashed beyond repair. There were also 8 horse tiles that I sell for $25 each that were broken. As most of the items were unfinished it’s hard to put a value on them, but I make around $50 an hour & had over 4 hours into them. The tiles were finished.I sent him a text that said he had damaged several items. He did not respond.Sept 20 I called my electric company, no inquiry made. I texted David and said between the delayed time, broken items, the lies about the job time, lies that he called the power company, loss of income since I had to turn down jobs that I really wanted a 100% refund.Sept 21 David said he’d be out in the morning.Sept 25 I called the power company, who said nothing has been filed to turn off the power. I both texted and Facebook messaged David letting him know I would like a full refund & had a BBB complaint ready.
