  Consumer BEWARE! ***** Damiano, the owner, is the brother of a good friend, so we felt comfortable hiring him to do our driveway and wall. That was a big mistake! It started with needing cash up front and promises to have the jobs done within a week. Six months later, not one job was completed, and after all the harassing texts and calls, we are cutting our losses to move on to a professional company after receiving more quotes. At first, everything seems good. Eventually, you find his equipment and tools parked on your property for a month and hes destroyed the front yard, back yard and driveway. When you call or text, he states that h*** be there and never shows up. He would not finish the retaining wall until he was paid in full, once he had the money, he disappeared while all the time saying he would show up to finish. We had to finish the excavation work that he left sitting for months, order loads of stone to backfill the retaining wall, and add stone to make our drive into the garage accessible. The texts and his behavior became so erratic and harassing that we had to call the police on him twice. Over the winter two separate subcontractors stopped by our house to tell us how he bragged to them about ripping us off by more than double, then proceeded to not pay them. Finally, we contacted a lawyer that informed us not to give another dollar since well never receive the service that we already paid for, and the company does not have any assets to recoup losses against. We had moved on to having some other companies quote and inspect the work done. Each reputable company has shown us why the work done should be removed and redone. Our recommendation is to keep clear of this company at all costs, and if you are already under contract, do not pay anything upfront or expect to have work completed as initially stated. If this guy is going to take advantage of a disabled vet and a family friend to this extent, I hate to see how he will rip off a stranger.

  So I hire this guy to repave my sidewalk & install a driveway onto my property for an agreed to amount, to which we signed a contract for the job. So he & an employee come down & install said driveway, along with resealing my sidewalk. After it's installed, he tells me that he'll be back in about 2 weeks to remove the cones & seal the job to finish it. This is here things start to get sketchy. After trying to contact him several times for weeks beyond when the first part of the job was completed, it took an ENTIRE YEAR for him to come back to seal the driveway that he installed on my property, He even failed to even do that part of the job correctly. All he did was have his employee give him heated buckets of sealant which he threw down & pushed around with a mop. He also didn't take the time to seal the edges where it meets the street or the neighbor's existing sidewalk. On top of all of that, he went & asked for additional money to come back to finish the job. His claim was to cover the cost of supplies, but he already had received the ENTIRE agreed to amount for the job as stated in the contract. As for his excuses for not coming to finish the job beforehand: 1) an unexpected passing of 1 of his employees, and 2) a legal dispute that held him up in court. Had I the capability to indicate half a star for a rating, you'd better believe that's what he would receive.
