    The landscaping company failed to complete the work that was to be done according to contract.I was charged $1,750 for them to kill the grass and then install the ground covering.Landscaping cloth was to be installed on the hillside and was done improperly wich resulted in all of the covering to come off. As you can see in the pictures that I have submitted. I asked *** (owner)to come back to fix the problem, but refused to do so. Therefore, I had to hire another company to come and install new fabric which was $350. And I am just requesting that Budget reimburse me for the extra expense that I had because of it. I think that is only fair since they refused to remedy their improper and shoddy work.

    Hello, we have reached out to you multiple times about the project. The project was completed a year ago. We informed you about the hillside and not putting anything on the fabric wouldnt last. We offered to come a re-fabric the hillside and you we have not heard back from you at all. The project was not just $1750 to lay fabric. We removed all the trees, weeds, debris growing on the hillside, removed all the grass, and planted ground cover.  After a year the weeds are going to grow back with nothing holding the fabric down. If you would like to reach back out to us about the project thats fine. We have tried multiple times to contact you and you ignore our phone calls and messages then post we should refund the money of $350 when we cant even get in contact with you.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    According to the business owner he claimed to have tried to reach me multiple
    Times. But this is untrue as you can see from the text messages that I submitted
    In my complaint. Which shows that I had asked him twice to come back to fix
    The fabric that has all come off because it was installed improperly. But the evidence
    Shows that he just gave me excuses and ignored my requests to fix it. Furthermore,
    He stated an untruth that he offered to come and re-fabric the hillside. Which the
    Evidence that I submitted shows that this is untrue and that he is lying about it.
    Another point is that they did not remove the grass on the hillside before laying the
    Fabric, which I did not notice until the fabric came off. And in another statement
    That he made is that he had tried multiple. Times but.Iignore.his phone.calls and
    Messages. First of all he had never contacted me by phone, but all of a sudden he
    Conveniently only contacted me after I had filed a complaint. which I had asked him
    To come back to fix it. He just ignored my requests to do so. Since he refused to rectify
    The situation, I think that it would only be fair for him to reimburse me the $350 that 1
    Had to spend to get it fixed by another company.

    We have already spoke. We came to an agreement to refund his $350. **** also agreed to drop this matter once he received his refund. I dont understand why we keep going back and forth at this point.

    I have got notice that Budget Friendly Maintenance has responded on the BBB website that we have settled that they agreed they were to refund me the $350 that it cost me to replace the fabric. That was a few weeks ago. And they were sup Posto send me a check. But I have not received anything yet.

    We waited and waited for Budget Friendly to settle with me. But unfortunately, they continue
    to stonewall and have not sent me any check to settle this matter. Therefore, you can go
    ahead and re-open the complaint that I have against them because they have not cooperated
    with me on the whole situation.
