      I took my boyfriend there with vomiting and dizzyness and bad stomach pain. We left after 3 hours in the waiting room where they took someone within 15 minutes of his arrival and he came about 2 hours after us. My boyfriend fell out of the wheelchair and all they did was come out and put him back in it and left. The service was horrible. He didn't want to stay to be seen there.
      I have NEVER been to a hospital where literally NO ONE cared! The pregnant girl at the front desk said, there is no time limit to be seen. Unbelievable. One nurse was yelling at him " How did you fall out of the chair?" He yelled back, "I don't know"
      I pray he does not have any discomfort from that fall or they will definitely be hearing from us again. THE WORST emergency room service I have ever witnessed.
      I think my mistake was reading the reviews AFTER I went. Lesson learned

      Awful! Horrible! Geisinger never updated my dad's insurance, so mistakenly billed him, and my mom paid the bill. I immediately called Geisinger and gave them the new information, so they could bill insurance and reimburse my mom. Months passed, and, upon calling again, learned they had not yet even billed insurance. Rec'd a call mid-summer to say insurance had paid up and they were sending a refund via a prepaid Bank of America card, which would arrive in 30 days. Made a handful of calls when nothing came, but each person I spoke with promised to find out and get back to me and then never did. In the meantime, my dad had died, and now Bank of America won't issue a refund without my 91 year old mother sending in notarized and certified documents. The manager of Geisinger customer service promised to try and get a check to my mom instead of going through the B of A hoopla and would absolutely get back to me to let me know, and if he couldn't get a check he would walk me through the necessary legal steps in a 3 way call with Bank of America. Guess who I never heard from again??
