I signed a contract with Homesteads Renovations LLC on 09/10/2024. When I made the initial payment of 50% down on 10/23/02024 I was told the job would be started In November and take 2 weeks. He did not start the job until January 12, 2025 and it is not complete to this day 05/03/2025. He was paid in full 03/03/2025. In the contract that has still not been completed;1. purchase and install sliding glass door in brush nickel with frosted glass 2. move the main toilet away from the wall 3. purchase and install new exhaust fan/light combo- vented outside 4. purchase and install 2 brush nickel shower bars Work that was done inadequately;1: he replaced 2 old toilets with 2 new toilets and left old ***** toilet fixtures on 2. he replaced a 34" cabinet with a smaller 26" cabinet 3. this cabinet does not sit on the floor and when he put new flooring down, he did not put flooring under this cabinet. There is bare cement showing. 4. he replaced a 52" mirror with a 36" mirror that was supposed to remain 52". He did not center the smaller mirror under the light fixture 5. he did not measure the doorways prior to purchasing the cabinets and had to remove not only the doors but the arches he did this without my knowledge or consent; he simply advised me after the doors and arches were removed 6. he replaced the doors with panel doors and the one does not shut right 7. the contract calls for a 30" x 60" tub/shower combo- he installed a 30" x 88" instead with the shower head being 7 feet high - no one can reach it to change water pressure 8. there are no grab bars in the bath/shower 9. the contract includes painting both bathrooms, he did this without prepping the walls just painting over bumps 10. the one cabinet was never completed it is missing a front panel 11. He left the garbage (everything that he removed from the 2 bathrooms) in my garage for more than 7 weeks before having most of it removed.
