    The office manager falsely claimed my insurance needed information from me to cover my daughters teeth cleaning on April 27, 2022. I received a phone call 5 months later telling me I needed to call my insurance to give them information. I called them and they told me that the problem was not on my end, but that the dentist (Dr Merlino) did not request payment in time and they would not cover it. Her next cleaning was cancelled due to an illness in their office and was rescheduled 5 months later! When we showed up for this appointment, the office manager pretty much accused me of not calling the insurance company and not currently having insurance, despite no truth or reason to think this! They wouldn't clean my daughters teeth unless I paid this bill (which my insurance would have covered if they submitted it on time!). I asked them to send me the bill and she laughed and told me I needed to pay it immediately, despite my employer (Apollo-Ridge School District) to have ANY bill sent to us before paying with our HSA, which I shouldn't even do because my dental insurance would have covered it!!!! Instead of billing me or calling me, it was turned in against my credit report. Dr Merlino said they called me numerous times, but my phone bill statement proves I was never contacted one time from them! I sent a registered letter and it was ignored. I will be filing with the magistrate next. I cannot even explain the headache that their mistake has become to me. I receive daily phone calls from Credit Management, despite telling them what had happened.
