On 8/11/2022 Joe's Power Washing cleaned my adjoining neighbors home. When we returned home that day we found multiple issues with our property - our driveway was left dirty, trash was left in the driveway, debris left on our lower, front roof but most concerning is that it appears as though the shingles that butt up to our neighbors home have been pressured washed. There are clear markings that run up the entire length of the roof in this area as well as a pile of shingle granules laying in our driveway. Shingles cannot be pressure washed, doing so will damage the integrity of that shingle. Our roof was installed in 2009 and has many years of life remaining. There is also a spot where our driveway & the neighbors porch meet that had a chunk of asphalt chipped out. I tried reaching out to the company last night when we returned home as well as this morning with no response.

Hello *****,This is wayne from joes powerwashing.Received your complaint the other day and I am returning my explanation to you about the pictures and your statement.#1-We did not access your roof to wash the side of your neighbors,we have 40 ft telescopic wands that reached your neighbors side of the house.Common sense would tell you that we need to stand in your driveway to wash.#2 The markings on your shingles was dirt removed from your 30 year old shingles,Ive done the research on your home.It was built in 1994 just like your neighbors home and they are the original shingles from that year, all that has to be done is wash your roof and the marks will vanish in which I would be happy to do so for your inconvenience.#3-The patched area you mentioned was not the result from us .That was your finished product from your sealer,we removed a piece of stucco from our clients porch which is no concern of yours.#4-As for the lines in your driveway from your picture, they have disappeared as of today.since this was the second time I looked at your house in the past week.A few more things,I did have a conversation with you when you asked me about washing your dormer for $150.00 but you were late for work, could of told me then not to go on your property, but you did not.Never received any reach out from you on 8/11 and 8/12.This will be the letter I send to the complaint department in Harrisburg.Thank you and have a nice day Wayne

.1st thing I will not honor the request for settlement and these are my reasons.#1-It states in the roof inspection that there was some markings and granules in the gutter. The granules could have been their for years or months.#2 The inspection states that their was no other damage so why would I agree to a whole new roof replacement? The markings on the shingles are results from dirt removed. There are no cuts, broken shingles,***** has not reported any issues with her roof except for the markings. The section of the marked shingles is about a 5ft wide by 7ft long. This can easily be repaired by replacing marked shingles.Roofing contractors do such repairs.***** also states that she tried contacting me by text in august,Im not saying she didnt but I did not receive her texts.Sometimes texts do not go thru.I offered to clean her shingles but she refused the offer due to she thinks a powerwasher must be a licensed roof contractor which is not the case.To close this message I feel that ***** is trying to take advantage for a whole new roof replacement which is not warranted in this situation.Replacement of marked shingles is my offer for her, that would be about 1 bundle of shingles.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:  I've had an experienced roofing company on my 2nd story roof to inspection the damage.  The power washing company has not been on my roof to inspect it and speak to what damage was caused.  At this point I will pursue for damages via other means.

    Regards,
