    I purchased a vehicle from MOTML(Maserati of The Main Line) on February 15, 2025. The car had it's state inspection and emissions completed at ***** in December of 2024. On February 27, 2025 the check engine light came on. I scheduled an appointment with my mechanic on March 5, 2025. The mechanic found the cause of the light to be a hole in a tube coming off the fuel tank. While investigating the cause the mechanic found a "spacer" placed between the O2 sensor and the exhaust, which he explained to me was an illegal practice. The mechanic explained that people will place the spacer in this spot to pass the emissions test. I have attached a copy of the picture the mechanic sent me of this spacer.
