On March 11th, 2022, I signed a contract with said company. They are to replace my old roofing and install new metal roofing. They received a $3,000 deposit on that day. The proprietor Nigel C**** accepted the deposit and immediately cashed the check. I I was waiting to secure my loan with my credit union at the time. We agreed that we would do the first two roofs first that needed it the most. That is why the 3000.00 deposit, on that job that was to cost apx $10,000. I ended up doing a mortgage with a different bank and so he asked for more money up front for the additional supplies which I immediately gave him. He has $10,000 of my money now. I have been put off with many multiple excuses over an extended period of time and I have nothing to show for my money at this point. To date, July 14th, 2022, no work has started and no supplies have been delivered. Two days ago I received a text message from Nigel telling me that he had to change his phone number because his phone fell into a pool while he was on vacation for 2 weeks at the outer banks. That story sounds off, to me. He stated that work would begin on Wednesday the 13th, and he would see me then. The supplies would be delivered that very day. Nobody showed up at the house. I am recently widowed and Nigel knows this and I feel that he is taking advantage of me, if not scamming me completely. I have done all that he has asked me to do but he has done nothing for me except take a lot of my money that I have to pay back with interest to the bank. Frankly I'm scared that I've lost $10,000. This morning I sent Nigel a text message to call me. So far he hasn't called me. I only chose to go with VIP Elite Home Improvements because the proprietor, Nigel, came highly recommended to me by a contractor that had done previous work for me. Now I wonder if they were in cahoots together? That contractor's business is called, ***** ******* ***, ***** * ********, proprietor, ******* ***, Bloomsburg, PA *****

Nigel C********, Owner of VIP elite home improvements lied and said that he was a licensed contractor with a professional top of the line business. He Took $6400 from me and had never finished his job that he started. He ordered all the wrong wood and refused to correct it then had his workers frame out my rear and they nailed it into my existing roof causing interior damage all over because they left my home open and exposed to weather and the wood open and exposed to weather. Not only did he abandon the job but now I have thousands of dollars in interior damage
