    I am rejecting this response because:
    Before the glass replacement, we opened and shut the windows for years, without any issues. The first time I tried to open the windows after replacement, (regardless of the period,) the frame separated. After my complaint, a reasonable customer complaint response would have been to inspect the window, and identify what could have caused the malfunction, instead of denying responsibility outright.

    I sincerely regret contracting this company to do this job.

    Hello BBB! We have received word there was a complaint filed about our work. There was not much background given on the work we performed for this client. Our company had replaced the glass in 12 windows at our client's home. Out of the 12 windows, there was only a complaint about 1. We don't believe this was "shoddy work" done by our company. Please note, we replaced the glass in these windows, we did not replace the windows themselves. Everything except the glass in these windows has remained the same. We have attached pictures in our response of the finished work of the window in question. There were no gaps in this window when we were out servicing this client. If there would have been a gap or any other discrepancy while we were out on site doing the work, our company would have addressed it then and there. We performed this work on 6/14/24 and we heard back from this client on 10/7/24, roughly 4 months after our work was performed; no person would let a window with a gap open like that for four months. This happened after the client decided to open their window and rack it on the track, not anyone from our company. That is the reason why we said there would be a $195 service charge for us to come back out to address this issue. Our company also received a signature approving the work our company performed to their satisfaction & received the final balance payment for the work. We are estimating these windows are ***** years old, most likely original to the home being built. Our company did not in any way deny service to this client, but this was not in fault to our company. Again, this was only a glass replacement. New glass does not equal new windows.
