    I received the following text message from a dentist office that I am no longer a patient of:Hi (removed name),Your outstanding balance with us is $(removed amount)Click below to view your statement and make a secure payment to American Dental (**********):****************** (removed number)Please call our office at ************** with any **************,American Dental (**********)I called the office and they said it was a glitch and confirmed I did not have an outstanding balance. I continue to receive the same text regularly.I mentioned this to another patient who confirmed they have been going through the same experience for months, have also contacted the office and received the same response regarding a glitch and removing the balance, and have also received a letter that the amount would be sent to collections. This is harassment.

    The insurance company Delta Dental rejected the coverage of four out of five of the teeth that were worked on. The date of service by American Dental Solutions was 03/02/2023. American Dental Solutions suggested the use of porcelain as opposed to ceramic. Individual wanted ceramic to be used since it is more affordable but feels like porcelain may have been used instead. Individual believes that American Dental Solutions was not transparent in disclosing the actual costs of the procedure until the day of the procedure. Individual did not have to pay up front even though the company requires payments ahead of time. Individual is retired and of fixed income and willing to come to a compromise over the payment.
